Family-friendly vacation rentals in New London

Firstly this is not just some ordinary room. This is an amazing full bed and breakfast experience run by 2 hospitality professionals that are top notch at what they do. This B&B is a HIDDEN GEM!! If you aren't immediately entranced by the views of the sun rising and setting over a pristine mountain lake you will be lost in the beauty and character of the building which is full of eye catching art. Shelia and Bruce were a joy to conversate with and were some of the kindest people I have had the pleasure of meeting. They are very pet friendly and treated our dog like family! As for the garnet suite the room is gorgeous and feels luxurious. The bathroom is a stunner and very large and open, it is so relaxing and the green jade marble tiling adds a gorgeous touch. What are you waiting for?! Book this B&B you will not regret it!! I rarely write reviews but had to since I was so blown away.

This was such a lovely home! The first thing we noticed was how good it smelled; like wood. The whole home is wood, and there were no diffusers or toxic plug-ins which we appreciated. We stayed on the first floor with plenty of space for our 11 month old son to practice taking his first steps! The kitchen has what you need for basic cooking, but some of the pans were scratched and need to be replaced. There was everything I needed to make my weekly cup of coffee, and plenty of good reading materials/books which was a nice perk. The one bed we used was great (I like a medium firm mattress) and the sheets were clean and crisp. I had to troubleshoot the TV remote a couple times but it was no hassle; instructions were given in a binder along with check out duties. It rained all weekend so we did not get to use the grill or firepit outside, but it was still a peaceful and blessed weekend. We would definitely stay here again!

My friends and I took a weekend ski trip to Ragged Mountain, and Jeffery’s House was the perfect home base. The house was warm and provided all of the amenities we needed to have a great weekend. Very peaceful location and only about 10 minutes from the mountain. Jeffery was also very communicative and addressed any questions I had in a timely manner….. would book again!

Cozy place with great amenities and location. Unlike some other cabin stays where everyone is cramped together, Adela's condo had enough room so everyone had some privacy. Also, a full kitchen to make food if needed.

My family and friends of ours traveled together for a quick getaway. The place was in a great location. The setup ideal for our group. The home was well equipped and clean. Would definitely stay again!

Bryan and Monica are excellent hosts and myself and those who stayed had an awesome experience over the course of the 6 weeks we spent at their location. We would highly recommend staying at their properties and plan on spending more time in the area again soon.

such a great place! the listing is honest when it says rustic which is exactly what we wanted and exactly what we got. (I've been mildly disappointed by pictures before-wide angle lenses can be deceiving!- but this was exactly as advertised.) the location is wonderfully secluded which makes relaxing actually possible. the little swimming hole/pond was great for our dogs and we saw so much wildlife- salamanders and crayfish and tadpoles galore. the hot tub was a great addition. I wish we could have stayed more than one night... we didn't want to leave. Overall comfortable and as advertised without feeling fussy or like my dogs were going to ruin something by simply existing. wish more windows opened and were screened in, but the multiple fans were a big help. thank you for having us!

My wife, two young kids, and I spent a blissful weekend away at Lucas' home in Danbury over Indigenous Peoples' Weekend. The house was perfect. A fully stocked game closet (including Catan!), the hot tub under the stars, a few brisk family swims in the pond, and a clean and comfortable house. The kitchen has everything you need and more for cooking family meals and the screened-porch is perfect for morning coffee. Most importantly, Lucas was responsive throughout the entire weekend. I had a few questions about local stuff and he responded right away with great advice. Overall, we had a wonderful weekend and we would very much like to return.

Such a nice and quite place! We were enjoying all the time. My cat loves the place with the backyard goes to greens!!! Would definitely love to visit there again!!! Landlords are super responsive and thanks for hosting~

I’m in love with this place! Highly recommend and I will definitely be back. Love the deck overseeing the hills and the fireplace that kept us cozy indoors! The place was pristine!! The cows alone are worth the trip. Good for a group of friends or a family trying to have a relaxing weekend! No regrets!!

We had an awesome getaway at Kevin and Lesley’s cabin! This was our last little getaway before we get married this fall and it was the perfect unplugged retreat to feel connected going into the stressful time before the wedding. The cabin is cozy, the bathroom is adequate and sort of surprisingly not as buggy as it could have been, and the porch was my favorite spot to feel connected to nature. Kevin was very communicative and the instructions in the cabin were very clear. Luce’s lookout was amazing at the top and a really great recommendation by our hosts. We would definitely go back!

This was a very spacious and cozy spot! A perfect place for a quiet weekend getaway with proximity to hiking and/or skiing/snowboarding. There were many books, games, and puzzles available to peruse and enjoy as well.

Another lovely stay at Vicki’s place. As always she was very accommodating and went out of her way to leave fresh fruit , fresh flowers and even offered an early check in because bad weather was coming. A wonderful host!

This is a nice cozy attic apartment inside of a residence. Steep staircase. No living room. Wonderful walking area beside a river. Close to Woodstock and Dartmouth. Gracious host. Temperature a little difficult to regulate. Recommend.

We were in town for a family wedding. Candace’s place was perfect for what we needed. The house is comfortable and cozy, and conveniently located near many activities and amenities.

We have been going to Sandpond every year for as long as I can remember. We love the lake and the area. Claudia's cabins provide us the ability to join our family there and have our own space. We absolutely love it and are already looking forward to next year!!

We had awonderful stay. It’s so nice to have the amenities at the community center. The house had all of the essentials we needed and then some. Very clean and a great layout of the floor plan. The house is located in a great location. It was an easy quick trip to the ice castles and also to the local ski mountains. Would love to come back and stay.

This is second year we've stayed at Tina & Robby's place and we love it! Cozy cabin vibes & close to Waterville Valley for skiing. Kitchen and baths are well stocked with the essentials and the wood fire place is always a hit! Thanks for a great stay!

It was so great staying at Corey’s place! It was just liked described and it was a great launch pad to explore Quechee and the surrounding area. We enjoyed it so much and would love to go back!

We had a very relaxing stay. Plenty of space to stretch out. Located within 10-15 min. of Keene State activities, the purpose of our trip. Bryan was a wonderful host. Very responsive. Instructions were clear, directions very helpful. Everything we needed!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with 5 adults and one dog. We walked in and immediately felt at home. This was one of the most well appointed places I have ever rented...it had everything we needed and more . The kitchen and the living space was quite comfortable. The beds were wonderful. There is a trail to the river right across the street which we used several times. I can't think of a negative thing to say.

Excellent apartment in a resort hotel. Well staffed and the property is kept in excellent condition. Highly recommend this host.
