Smoking friendly vacation rentals in New London County

It’s a beautiful setting, walk-in distance to the beach, fish market, restaurant and bakery. We had a very pleasant stay.

This is our first visit to Hartford and we very much enjoyed all the city had to offer. This place was close to the river, the Bushnell Theater, the Wadsworth museum and some good restaurants.

Cozy and unassuming, Gina makes you feel at home. Fresh, homemade continental breakfasts were great! It is pet friendly, but ours stayed home. We wouldn’t hesitate to bring them next time. Nice fenced yard. We were in town for a graduation at Q Law. The unit is just a few minutes drive to downtown Wallingford and the Q campuses.

Elisa’s place was perfect for what we needed. It was exactly like the photos inside, very cozy and welcoming! Elisa gave very clear directions to find the place and to park, although the parking lot ended up being very full and it could be difficult to find a space. We loved the place and if we ever came back would definitely stay again!

The landlord was kind and friendly, and I was able to feel very at ease during my stay.If you want to visit this place again, this is the place for you.

The property is so peaceful and quiet. So close to the beach. My friends and i had a blast, Adam is very responsive and very helpful. I wouldn’t mind staying here again.

Quiet for sleeping, good amount of space to spread out my stuff and convenient parking in their driveway. I hope to be back

This house was absolutely stunning! The views were breathtaking! The host was friendly, helpful, and polite. The kitchen was completely stacked as well! It had all types of spices, dishes, and appliances. If you need it, they’ll have it! Having this house as our base for a weekend of winery hoping was wonderful, and made it even more special and enjoyable! 10/10 would totally recommend!

The house was immaculate and exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed the well -equipped kitchen and even included flour, spices and sauces. Top quality everywhere. We hiked in the adjacent state park and enjoyed that immensely. The game room was fun with billiards and pinball as well as other games. Alexa activated all the lights on voice command. Hosts met us when we arrived and walked us through the house. We hope to return each year.

Three generations of my family were comfortable sharing Jessica's house. The children and their parents slept upstairs, while the grandparents had the downstairs to ourselves. It was a perfect arrangement for getting a good night's sleep. The house is well organized and comfortable, with plenty of kitchen supplies for cooking, and has a pleasant porch for outside lounging. It is walking distance to a beach on the bay - a safer beach for small children than the ocean. All and all, a good experience!

We came as a group of friends with a baby to stay at Blake and Tracy's house, and we had a great stay. They were very communicative and accommodated all our requests to ensure our stay was excellent. They asked in advance if it would be okay for their child to stay in his room inside the house, and we agreed. We didn’t see him at all during our stay, and it didn’t disturb us in the slightest. The fact that Blake and Tracy live right next door was convenient, as they were readily available for anything we needed, but we never felt their presence. We will definitely come back!

The house was such a wonderful place for our family vacation. The house, property, and views of the Sound are truly spectacular! Alexandra was a warm, available, and gracious host. The pool and beach were perfect. The master bedroom and terrace are exceptional. This was a perfect vacation. Thank you!!

Love this place: history, mystique, comfort, unpretentious/rustic yet with great WiFi. Rambling, picture-book old house/farm with history intact, rare big stretch of land on the water with charming scenes in every direction. Rolling grounds, vegetable/herb garden. Best vibe/sense of culture, art, books, board games, a kitchen for cooking big meals, views on all sides from all rooms, walks by the bay a few yards away and around the estate's hidden paths. Very generous, attentive, laid back hosts. Ideally set up for groups, with two spacious sea-view living rooms and bedrooms spaced apart, plus wood-burning fireplace with tons of wood stacked. Perfect in December when we stayed and must be magical in warmer weather. Very near villages with chic shops/restaurants etc. Would not change a single thing. Will definitely return if it's ever available in any season.

This home was everything my family and I could ask for. Immaculate, cozy, and spacious. The game room was a big hit for the kids, the yard and patio area were perfect for our family to gather and relax while the kids had plenty of space to play. The location was perfect, right near the heart of mystic. Ben was an amazing host and went the extra mile to make sure his home had anything we could possibly think of needing throughout our stay. My family and I can't wait to book with Ben at the Oar house again in the near future!

There were a few hiccups including dirty floors and bedding, faulty door locks and not enough towels for the 4 people we had in our group, power tools in the kitchen cabinets. However once communicated with the owner she assisted us as soon as possible. Sent a cleaning team over, replaced bedding and fixed the door locks. She did refund us partially which we really appreciated. Our stay was for work and our team works long hours. Coming home to a place that is comfortable clean and well supplied is very important to us. Thank you Julia, you went above and beyond to make things right for us.
