This lake house was absolutely beautiful! Brought my girls there as a little get away in preparation for my wedding day. Jhismery was responsive so quickly and so accommodating with some questions I had. Stunning view of the lake and the house had this homey feel to it. I would book it again as a weekend getaway again!

My family and I had a wonderful weekend at the house. The house is beautiful and was extremely clean when we arrived. Luiz kindly left a sled for my kids to use in the yard. There is plenty of outdoor space and the yard has a good deal of privacy. There are two bedrooms and a den/office with a TV. The kitchen has everything we needed. Luiz was very easy to communicate with.

Treasured 1924 Colonial "Sweet Caroline"

This was my 6th stay at Sweet Caroline, so that alone should prove that I love staying here! It truly has become my Connecticut home away from home. Johnathon and Glorimar are wonderful hosts--very friendly and easy to get ahold of. As someone born and raised in Connecticut but a Californian since 1992, the location of the house is perfect for me. I would recommend it to anyone who may be experiencing the Connecticut shoreline for the first time. What really made this particular visit different was that I was here for a family funeral, and the fact that I had to come during the holiday season made this trip difficult. I was so surprised then when I entered the house and saw a beautiful Christmas tree all lit up to greet me. The house was also decorated with lights on the outside as well. This really boosted my spirits at an otherwise difficult time. Whenever I need a place to stay in Connecticut, this is where I always want to stay!

Had a wonderful stay with John! The place was very cozy and comfortable, even better than the photos, and stayed warm in near zero temperatures. The place was well stocked with everything you might need, including emergency supplies, and John even took the time to reach out and check in on additional snow supplies and heating during my stay when a storm came in. John was very communicative and helpful throughout, I would definitely stay again.
