Very professional host and beautiful cottage. The view over Kathmandu is priceless. If you want to get away from the rush and traffic in the city, this is a great option.

Suren is great host, everything was as described in the listing. Big yard and empty space. You can park on the territory. He is very friendly and well managed. This place is highly recommended.

Ram's place was beautiful. 2 great bedrooms. Comfortable beds. Super safe. Big kitchen. Lovely sitting / living room. Hot water. Western toilet. Ram is WONDERFUL. Super helpful - loving bright light. Was there at the airport with a huge smile (even after waiting for us for a couple of hours because we were running late), and got us to his place quickly and safely. Only a 4$ cab ride from Thamel - the tourist hub. Be sure to keep Ram's number handy to give to taxi drivers to get you back home at night. Ram was super attentive - always answering the phone, offering to help with tours and onward travel. We booked one night and ended up staying all week ! We couldn't leave... THANK YOU RAM ! <3

IF YOU’RE READING THIS PLEASE COME STAY HERE! I was fortunate to meet a friend from Norway at a vipassana meditation retreat in America who had been here and told me about it. One of the best experiences I’ve ever had and a true gem of Nepal. Kamal, his wife Goma and family instantly welcomed me into their family. I had initially booked for 4 nights not sure what to expect and ended up staying for 12 and I really wanted to stay longer. This place attracts a certain kind of person and I met some beautiful new friends from America and Europe who I really bonded with over the 12 days. From the breathtaking hikes, truly authentic and homegrown meals, intimate meditation/yoga classes every morning and the most peaceful, idyllic atmosphere you could ever dream of, I’m already looking forward to coming back for a longer stay in the future. Thank you Kamal and family, you are wonderful!

Manish’s apartment was as per the description. It’s a cozy apartment with every facility you need. Cold evening in Kathmandu was not a problem with A/C and a heater making the apartment warm. Security was very nice. Sumit from casa deyra, was also greatwith communication. No hassle in check-in and check-out. Overall, very nice stay. Would definitely book this place for my next visit and recommend for my friends.

We stayed at Pramods place for 3 nights. Mr Pramod was personally available to welcome us. It's an apartment located near the ring road area with easy access to city. We parked our car in the basement and took taxi to explore the city. Hot water was available 24/7. Safe and secured place too.

Tenz’s place is amazing. It’s very tastefully made and has all the amenities one could expect. It’s view right outside the window was amazing. We were traveling with our pet so it was great because it had a lot of open space outside for him to walk. Tenz was really quick with responses and made sure we didn’t face any issues. Thank you so much.

Situated in peaceful residential area. Google sometimes shows thin lanes as best route. Always coordinate with the owner. He was very helpful. My only concern was that there were no fan in the rooms. Though not required throughout the year in Kathmandu but in June it was hot and humid.

The flat I rented from Andrei and Maria was perfectly in line with the photos and the descriptions. I loved the atmosphere, the neighborhood, and the flat. It was peaceful and quiet, which was great as a contrast to the hustle and bustle of Patan. I highly recommend the apartment. Maria and Andrei were not on site themselves. but the friendly downstairs neighbor took care of my questions and provided assistance when needed.

Good stay, considerate hosting. Old style hospitality missing in most of South Asia nowadays. Homely and seeped in knowledge culture.

Babin is an extremely hospitable host. I only stayed at his place for 1 night as a transit to Pokhara but Babin picked me up from the airport and gave a good room with all amenities to have a good night rest. I also got a good breakfast in the morning and he called a cab for me to get to the airport on time.

Christian and his family are saints, we had a very perilous journey on scooter from Sauraha to Pharping and were kindly received by these incredible hosts, warm comfy beds in creative bamboo houses on top of an incredible valley filled with wildlife. The Pharping area is definitely worth a trip from KTM, Darkshinkali temple cannot be missed, and Tibetan Buddhism is massive here, more monastries than I can count. Amazing.

I stayed for a week on a work visit. The apartment was large and had everything we need. It was a convenient location in Lazimpat, so it was an easy trip to meetings around Thamel, Durbar Margh, and Balwatar. The host was very kind and communicative.

I had a great stay at Urban Retreat Studio Apartments. It is located in a convenient location of Lalitpur and is very walkable. The room was spacious, open, and very bright with lots of windows. Parbat, the host, was very responsive and quick to answer and accommodate my questions. I'd recommend this place for those looking for a studio apartment in the heart of Kathmandu.

I had an amazing stay with Akash- he was super friendly, extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and he was funny on top of it all. Unit looked even better than how it seemed in the photos, big kitchen, great location, and best of all he picked me up from the airport. I’m telling you you if you’re planning to come to Kathmandu this is the place to stay.

My son and I stayed at Rabin's unit for two weeks in February because my son was playing a tennis tournament nearby. About the place: We stayed at the unit with the attached kitchen and bathroom - the unit is exactly as in the photographs, clean, roomy and has a small kitchenette. Rooms were cleaned once a week, and fresh linen and towels were provided. What struck me the most is that Rabin is the most genuinely nice and helpful person I've met. For example, when my son's shoes gave way in the midst of the second week, Rabin personally assisted me in getting them repaired. Rabin, his lovely wife, and his wonderful parents made us feel at ease and safe - they took excellent care of us! added bonus: Rabin is a good cook!

This is an exceptional Air BnB. I was welcomed warmly into a beautiful apartment, fully equipped with a kitchen, and the entire space impeccably presented. The bed was so comfortable I was reluctant to get up. But most important of all, Abhaya and his mother Meena kept going above and beyond what's usually required of hosts. They could not have been more kind, helpful and considerate, even though I could only be there for 3 nights. I've stayed at Air BnB's around the world. This is the best in every way. Including my goodbye hugs from these wonderful people.

Sanjeeb and his family are helpful and nice. House is clean and you can feel as at home. The house is near the street and you can buy anything easily by walk distance. If you like cooking, it is a very recommended location to stay. Would like to stay next trip to Nepal.

We stayed for a month over Christmas and new years and we were very happy and comfortable. The neighbourhood is relaxed and friendly and there are lots of shops around for anything you might need, there is a bus to Thamel and we would usually walk back as it was difficult finding the bus on the way back. The kitchen didn’t have the mentioned oven when we first got there but this was resolved and we cooked/baked a lot during our stay. Rajendra was helpful with anything we needed, he let us do our laundry a few times and you can use the roof to relax but we were content with the private patio :) we shared a wonderful meal on our last night. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

Everything in the apartment was as described in the offer. The place is clean and cozy, the kitchen is well equipped and the owner is very helpful. There was Netflix available in the apartment. Also, there is laundry machine. Within 3 minutes walk there are many shops and local bars. The area felt very safe. Wifi is good enough for everyday use (Netflix, youtube etc) but if you are dealing with huge amount of data it probably won't be sufficient. Great place to relax!
