We had a great stay at this house – it was really well equipped, very clean and furnished with a lot of love for detail. The landlord was extremely friendly, helpful and eager to make us feel completely comfortable. The outdoor area was also designed with a lot of dedication and invites you to linger. Of course, you can see small cultural differences between German and French handwriting in the design, but it has its own charm. Overall a very nice place to stay with warm hospitality – recommended!

I think it's one of the most beautiful homes I've found on Airbnb. attention to detail in the decoration amenities patio garden dinner reserved for the evening (a beautiful platter of charcuterie) everything is neat, pleasant and it's quiet it's really a pleasure the hosts are extremely kind and give good advice I'd love to come back if I get the chance. bonus point for towels and bathrobes that are large and that for me as a tall person fit very well .... and that's rare i recommend 1000%

A great place to stay! Absolutely recommended. Everything being very clean, tastefully and practically furnished. There is really everything you need, even for cooking. Absolute highlight of the pool and the sauna/hammam. Bathrobes are also available. In the morning, a delicious breakfast with croissants, baguette, salami and ham, as well as various jams, honey, etc. No wishes are left unfulfilled. Sabrina also recommended a delicious restaurant for dinner and made a reservation. A perfect stay! Thank you for everything!

We spent an extended weekend here, the cottage is beautiful as shown in the pictures and the pool is a great highlight. Outdoor area fenced and not visible. The surroundings are quiet and you can spend time in nature. Lonora was friendly and always available. Check-in and check-out went smoothly thanks to the key box. We are happy to recommend the cottage.

A great accommodation with a great garden and extremely many opportunities to keep busy for all ages. Michelle and Bernd know what it takes to make a fun getaway! Although the photos and description did not show that the accommodation is a semi-detached house, this is irrelevant in the relaxed neighborhood. The opportunity to provide for the forgotten on a donation basis is fantastic. The overall trust in the guests is also exceptional! Many thanks!

We spent a girlfriend weekend there and would have liked to have stayed there! The apartment, the surroundings and the view from the terrace are simply wonderful. The house is in great condition and has great amenities. Communication was always friendly and possible in German as well as French. We would not have chosen the place if it had not been conveniently located between our places of residence. It is a beautiful area in terms of landscape, but it is a bit cumbersome to shop, as it is very rural. We can well imagine coming back again.

We gave our mother the family weekend for her 75th birthday. After we mastered the 75 steps, we were rewarded with the great view from the living room. We were also very pleased with the welcome basket. The house is lovingly decorated and looks exactly like the photos. We immediately felt comfortable and we didn't lack anything. If the weather had been nice, we would have liked to use the garden with the loungers - unfortunately it was too humid. We would come back.

My children and I had an amazing stay! We loved the area. It was very quiet and the neighbors were very welcoming and friendly as well as the owners home. They were very accommodating and the stores and everywhere I wanted to visit was nearby! Only thing that I did not enjoy was the steps but it was great exercise lol. I will definitely be returning!

We had a great time with friends in this brand new accommodation. The house is even more beautiful than in the photos and located in a very new and peaceful residential subdivision. Lise is an available, attentive and very responsive host. The dialogue is always friendly and caring. I enjoyed interacting with her. We will gladly come back if we have a chance! 🙂

We felt very comfortable in Laura's house. It was very clean, bright and cozy. The kitchen is very well equipped, the bed super comfortable and in the great weather we enjoyed the garden and the terrace a lot. There is a lot to discover in the area, whether hiking, cycling or excursions to Trier, Saarbrücken, Luxembourg or Metz in France, everything is easy to reach partly by car or public transport. And you have good shopping in the village supermarket, butcher and bakery all also within walking distance. The only drawback is that there is not so much choice of restaurants or other places in Beckingen, but since we were on the road a lot, we ate somewhere or catered for ourselves. We thank you very much and wish everyone a pleasant stay.

Great apartment, perfectly equipped kitchen, very nice new bathroom, nice furniture, terrace with gas grill and awning. Technically modernly equipped (TV, DAB radio). Beautiful garden, small pond. Everything perfect and designed by Luise with a lot of passion. Nice contact.

The Mansion of Birds is a total highlight. Imagine a beautifully restored elegant French country house in a beautiful garden with an awesome view and within walking distance of restaurants, bars, bakery and the local attractions. This is a perfect spot from which to explore the attractions of the northern Vosges mountains and is highly recommended. The only problem is that you may be disappointed by your next accommodation when you leave!

Very spacious accommodation & we had room to park three bikes in front. It was easy to find and it’s a nice quiet area but plenty of shops nearby. Inside there was good attention to detail (iron, hairdryer, cotton buds, plenty of towels, spices, etc) and it would be suitable for families with how big it was. It was nice and cool inside too. I would come back and stay again!

The stay with Véronique went perfectly well. The house is decorated with great taste, everything is perfect. It is perfectly equipped and the bedding is of very good quality. The garden is very nice and direct access to the forest is very appreciated especially when you are staying like me with 2 dogs. The neighbourhood is quiet and the area is beautiful. If I were to return to the Bitche area, I will come back without hesitation.

We spent a nice weekend in the house with the whole family of 17 people and especially used the kitchen and the cool rooms on the ground floor. The double room, which was located on the ground floor and was barrier-free (especially the bathroom), was very practical. This fact was beneficial and important for our group. Communication was good. The rooms were all clean, nicely decorated, the beds comfortable and the bathrooms freshly renovated.

Super clean house in two floors. Beautiful area with a large supermarket 10 min away by car. We used the small electric water kettle.(500 ml), the oven and the hob, dishwasher which working perfectly. the printed house intructions on paper were in German. We didn't use WiFi or other amenities. The pillows in the bedroom were very soft for my preference. Ruth was very kind and responsive. She provided us everything with extra tips with regard to any question of me. We were there during the holidays. Ruth let us check-out later than stated on her page.

A small fine cottage with a large garden and many beautiful seating areas. Isa is super nice and gave us a warm welcome. Our dog also felt right at home. A small note for future guests: the house is not suitable if you have problems walking because the stairs to the bedroom are very steep.
