This ground-floor, barrier-free holiday apartment makes your stay in Plauen, the secret capital of the Vogtland, an experience. The tram stop is about 10 minutes away on foot. The accommodation at Bernhard and Silke's is a dream and super nicely located!!! If you can't make it down here, you won't make it anywhere ;-)! Bernhard and Silke are super nice hosts, give great tips and are just nice. Eggs are available directly from our own chickens and the playful cat also comes by to check ;-). Johanngeorgenstadt boasts one superlative after another (largest free-standing candle arch, pyramid with wooden figures that explain the town's history, horse goffel, first ski jump in Germany). There is a super nice natural outdoor swimming pool and you can explore the area directly from the accommodation on foot or by (e) bike. The Czech border is just around the corner. If you want to explore the West Erzgebirge with all its facets, this is the place to be!

Lovely little apartment, especially for a long term stay. Grocery store is about a 5-10 min walk away, and the main train station is about a 20 min walk away. Apartment was clean and comfortable. Would stay here again

We had a wonderful weekend at the property! It is small but very fine – and yet very spacious. It really had everything you needed, and everything was super clean and well maintained. We would particularly like to highlight the hosts: very friendly, helpful and above all flexible – we were even able to arrive late at night without any problems. Clear recommendation!

We spent just under a week in Isabell's lovingly furnished apartment. The children immediately made themselves comfortable in the children's rooms on arrival and then made friends with the cat in the garden. The apartment is well equipped. The neighbors in the house were very kind and helpful. Bakery and shopping are within walking distance. You can also take many excursions around Auerbach. Overall, we had a very nice time and felt very comfortable. Thank you very much.

If you come across this listing, book it! Marko is very welcoming without being intrusive, for example check-in and checkout are at our convenience thanks to the lockbox. The house, or rather the castle, is beautiful both outside and inside. The accommodation has been recently renovated, everything is new and functional. The decor is very neat. Personally, I also enjoyed seeing that Marko has a Trabant older than mine, which we used to travel, and the very German techno choice of CDs to listen to in the accommodation offers a quirky touch that I love! Finally, the price is very reasonable. This is probably the best Airbnb I've booked so far, don't hesitate! Thank you so much Marko 😁
