Badhra and his family has been a real pleasure to live with for a month! They were extremely accommodating and helpful to my every need and was always somewhere around when I needed help. I had a room with an entire terrace with an amazing view of Pokhara and you can also see the stupa from there. It’s nice and quiet so I had very restful nights. Only about a 10minute walk to the Main Street where most things are, but well worth it considering noisy there. I liked waking up to the sound of birds and local people of a peaceful neighbourhood. Most of all, badhra was an amazing trekking guide! Full of humour and dad jokes, he made my ABC trek experience extraordinary. He is extremely experienced as he has been doing it for almost 30 years and well connected with the locals along the trek. He organised the trek according my my personal needs and was flexible in the schedule even during the trek. Everyone was telling me how lucky I was to have such an energised guide! Thank you badhra! 🤟🏽🙏🏽❤️

The house is kept neat and clean, and the host is very friendly. Next time I will stay there too.

The food is very delicious, the location is also very convenient, the host is also very nice, but if you are afraid of dogs, be careful, there is a very cute labrador hehe

I truly enjoyed my stay at Bhadra’s guesthouse. There are a couple of common areas, i.e a balcony used for dining and a roof terrace; the room was well-equipped with everything I needed. Bhadra will do his best to accommodate you, his family is very kind and will make you feel at home. Possibility to do laundry as well. Icing on the cake for trekking lovers: Bhadra is a phenomenal guide, very knowledgeable!

A real gem! Roshani & Sugat are wonderful hosts, going above & beyond to make sure I got the best experience of Kathmandu. The house is clean, comfy and welcoming. Location is central but away from the crowds of Thamel tourists and gives a real insight into people's lives here. Highly recommended. I'll be back next time I stay in Kathmandu!
