House vacation rentals in Nelson City

This property is everything one could ask for. The house is spacious which allows for privacy for all party members. It is an old house with a unique feeling one can appreciate. The house is very well equipped and the garden is spectacular. The view is breathtaking one does not want to leave the house! The host is lovely, very responsive and helpful! We would stay longer if we could . Very highly recommended!

Wonderful stay at Matt and Lucy's. the home was well appointed with everything we needed. the pool and the spa was very good and we felt super relaxed and comfortable here. would happily recommend.

Kay’s cottage is gorgeous, looks exactly as the pictures do. The surroundings are something else and having access to the kayaks, paddle boards and dingy were a great assets. We arrived on a stunning Autumn day and go out onto the ocean right away.. Three bedroom are all close together upstairs and downstairs was a cosy open plan kitchen dining lounge area. The road there isn’t for the faint of heart but when you get there it’s very much worth it!! We wish we stayed longer.

A wonderful home in a beautiful location with stunning views. We particularly enjoyed the pool, spa and being able to walk to amazing restaurants and wine bar. Sally and Wayne were friendly helpful hosts. Highly recommend staying

We loved our stay at Swim, Sun, Sleep, Repeat! The house was immaculate but also very homely. The location was in a quiet suburb of Nelson but backed onto open countryside ideal for walking out .The Sprig & Fern pub had just opened only 10 minutes walk away which was very handy when we wanted somewhere local to eat. It was a great location overall as Abel Tasman Park was only an hour away and there was plenty to visitmore locally . We loved the layout of the house with all three bedrooms at the back of the house. We understand music room could also be used as a fourth bedroom but this would need arranging ahead. The lovely upstairs lounge has an amazing view in the morning sunshine. The kitchen was very well equipped ( although we couldn’t find any kitchen scissors) We loved the modern appliances especially double dishwasher. Great pool and hot tub s. Equally the family left a great selection of games .We would love to stay again if we were ever back in New Zealand - an amazing home

On arrival the bach was unfortunately not ready for us, but this was due to an oversight by the cleaner, not Emma. Emma was super quick to respond and very apologetic when we messaged about it and couldn't have been more prompt in getting things resolved which we really appreciated. After this initial blip we loved our four night stay here. The bach feels like the best of both worlds - an old family bach and the charm that comes with that, made even better with significant modernising updates like the massive glass doors, and all the other mod cons and extras (big fridge, dishwasher, washer and dryer, heatpump/AC, Chromecast, etc). It is off the beaten track and feels so peaceful and private. Being so close to the sea is a real treat. We would love to come back some time in the warmer months so we can make the most of the amazing outdoor areas and pool! (just a bit too chilly for us softies to swim in it at this time of year... we did love the outdoor fireplace though!). :)

This was our second stay at Bex & Nicks place. Again it was great for us being a large group with kids. Heaps of toys, bikes and space to keep the kids occupied. While also being a great place for an the adults. Its a beautiful place, that feels very quiet and peaceful tucked away on the hillside, but it's still very close to the city centre.

A friendly welcome, magnificent views and a beautifully appointed home. The walking track at the back gate a real bonus. All the luxuries without feeling nervous, truly comfortable all round. Such a hidden gem to stay at in Nelson! Leah has done an amazing job renovating the old house and created a perfect place to stay while in Nelson. Close to the centre and lots of nice bars. Really enjoyed staying here!

Smyth's home was a complete oasis for our month stay, we always looked forward heading back here at the end of the day! Beautiful scenery and lots of open space around. Smyth was very friendly and accommodating, couldn't have asked for a better home or host for our time in the Nelson-Tasman area - we felt right at home!

Enjoyed our stay especially the nice fireplace for the cold evenings.

Meredith is a great host - funny, friendly, speedy responses and lots of recommendations! The house is spacious and comfy and the kitchen and bathrooms were spotless and modern. Location is great, walking distance to main street with lots of cafes/restaurants/shops. Can keep walking through town to see murals and up the hill to hiking/biking trails and views of city and harbor. Great base to explore Nelson!

Lovely clean, tidy house with spacious living area and comfortable bedrooms (beds rather soft but comfy). Kitchen good size with two ovens which was useful. Nice view, although hedges in front cut out quite a bit of it. Nice quiet location, bit of a drive to get up the hill & along the road to it with loads of speed humps which makes it take quite a while, but once there is a lovely spot and nice to walk around the area with the spectacular views. Huw was very helpful and friendly with great communication - highly recommend!

Dylan's place was wonderful. Good location in town, quiet, and well kept. He was very responsive to a couple of unexpected situations that he resolved very quickly. We were very satisfied and favorably recommend the place.

An absolutely beautiful home which we felt very comfortable in as soon as we walked in. Stunning art work on the walls, clean and comfy beds, a sweet private garden with ocean views, what more could you ask for! The home had plentiful space for the 4 of us, including a study area which my partner was able to work in quietly. If we ever came back to Nelson I would definitely hope to stay here again. Helen's home was perfect for 3 ladies in Nelson for a convention. We each had our own bedroom space. It was clean, warm and comfortable and very well equipped with everything we needed. Helen is great to communicate with also. Would highly recommend staying here.

We had English relatives with us and a 2 year old and everyone was impressed. Nessie loved all the toys and we forgot the pram but there was a buggy for us to use!

Stunning home & location. Well stocked kitchen and an amazing laundry which made washing a breeze with 6 adults. Highly recommend Jenni’s home & would love to stay again when next in Nelson.
