Had a peaceful stay in this place. The staff is also very attentive and responsive, even when I had a concern post check-out. Great value for my money.

Brenda and Monet are an incredibly courteous and warm couple. She took care of everything for me before I arrived and arranged for me to arrive safely and experience all my activities. There was even a delicious traditional lunch from her. In front of the house, 5 meters away is a small beach section. Monet, your husband used to go fishing a lot and has some stories to tell. Would come back there anytime. Hopefully that will happen!! The place was also great, of course. But despite its great location and coziness, it falls behind the great presence of the great hosts. ❤️ Thank you for everything!! 🙏

I felt safe throughout my entire stay, which I was really thankful for as a solo traveler. Everyone was welcoming and warm (even their neighbors), and the entire place was as advertised. I'll be sure to come here again when I come back to Bohol.

lovely place, only a few rooms so it felt very quiet and peaceful. a short tuktuk into town costing just 15 pesos each. had a few language barrier issues with reception which was unusual on my travels to the Philippines but manageable. lovely resident dog called RJ, melted our hearts :) thank you so much

Great place, friendly helpful staff and delicious breakfast every morning at your convenience. Arranged an excellent guide for me to go swim with the Whalesharks. Took all the stress off as he kept my spot in line as I went for coffee and rented swim fins for me as I waited. Also arranged a taxi ride to Moalboal for me. Were very very nice. Very few restaurants in the area other than street food places. Nearby mall has a food court that charges almost nothing and provides even smaller portions. Other than that which is out of their control, I had an amazing time.

Location & Car: The house is about tutu 25 minutes by car from Panglao Island International Airport The price is 250 pesos, 10 minutes by tutu to Alona Beach, the price is about 120. House environment: What you see is what you get, the house is very designed overall, very clean.There is a large living room on the first and second floors, the kitchen is an open area in the yard, room 1-3 is on the first floor, 4-6 is on the second floor, each room has its own balcony; Facilities: It is not suitable for people with high requirements for the Internet, they often can't brush the signal, it is not very good under the wifi environment, the house provides towels, bath towels, soap, there are no other toiletries, you need to bring your own, it is quite good, it is relatively environmentally friendly, and the surrounding environment is not particularly quiet for people who do not sleep well, because it is surrounded by villages, and there will be chickens and dogs; Personnel & communication: The caretaker will clean the yard every day, provide free breakfast to help with the ride, and be warm and polite.

The place was super clean and well maintained. Room was super tidy and everything was working fine. The added breakfast was nice considering the price of the accommodation. Noreen was very responsive to every query i have regarding her place and Dumaguete and Banilad in general. OVI's staff were super helpful and accommodating as well, they provided tips on how to go around the place. Super love my stay, will definitely come back :)

Very nice place and host!

Though it wasn't a beachfront place, I can say that it's a nice place to stay since it has a peaceful ambience. The owner and staffs are friendly. I love the 24/7 coffee available and hot water as well as the heater is a plus points for me. I learned to travel a lot using trycabs so it's not an issue for me even it's 2km more or less to get to the Alona beach cuz it never gives me an hassles. The place was nice and I rest a lot without noise. No curfew so I enjoyed my time. So grateful to the owner. Thank you sir Ariel!

The place is a 30 mins away from port of Buenavista to barangay bacjao if you rode a tricycle from the port . When you reach the place you feel the calmness, privacy and peaceful vibes of the area. They offered foods that they personally served and it taste good. And if you really wanted to eat from time to time . Might as well to bring some snacks with you because the stores is far from the place. The room are clean and very relaxing, I will definitely come back here

Wonderful host! I have stayed with them twice now and their service is top notch. Working AC and Wi-Fi, a fully usable kitchen, heated showers, and a delightful breakfast. The staff is very friendly and communicated well. I would highly recommend staying here.

Tita Carmela is a great host, she is very accommodating and very engaging to her guests. She would even greet us personally upon arrival even late already and would engage with us and share about the history of their ancestral home. Food is superb! Ancestral vibe is also the dominant feel, a very unique experience for someone who wants to have a short break from a city life. Over all, highly recommended to visit again and for friends!

We had a great time with my family. Tingko beach is just below the resort, a minute walk. The place is serene with a beautiful view of the sea. Room is clean, breakfast is superb and Host is very responsive all the way. The crew is excellent. Very approachable and kind. Definitely will comeback and that time it will be for longer stay.🥹👍🏞️ Very worth it!!

Staying at Anj's place at Balai Lawaan was such a respite for the soul. It's easily accessible via Grab or taxi-- a little further away from the city center, but worth the extra few minutes of travel. We slept so soundly each night, it was actually hard to wake up! Slow mornings with a hearty balanced breakfast on the garden terrace, basking in the morning sun, and the having coffee while taking in the calming sound of wind chimes in the garden-- such a slice of paradise. Anj was an amazing host and her staff was truly very warm. Looking forward to our next stay at Balai Lawaan-- the reviews were right, it's truly a home away from home.

Place is good and our host is always responsive and very helpful. We will probably book this again if we visit panglao to try other activities.

A true at home experience with a lovely family. The area is quiet, slightly out of the city and a bit cooler, with high walls around to feel quite secure. Very clean, well maintained. Breakfast was amazing each day, a lot of effort put into it. Highly recommended.

Relaxing spot in Alcoy. Breakfast was good and we enjoyed the soaking pool after being out. Aissa was easy to communicate with. The outdoor kitchen was a nice place have to keep room cool. Outdoor shower was very nice and pleasant. There was a scheduled area power outage and there was still hot water for 2! Bed mattress is thin (almost like a foam topper) which was tough if overweight. AC can be loud if noise is an issue. GPS is off. Type in "House of Do Do" and follow that road until reach AirBnB and no issues. Eat at Southern Chiks! Would stay again!

Incredible place to stay while in Siquijor! The room was incredibly spacious and comfortable and the bed was great to sleep in! The bathroom is outdoors which took some getting used to but it is actually a great idea and very unique! The staff were all lovely and extremely accommodating, we arrived early and they were kind enough to allow us an earlier check in. There is also a restaurant and bar onsite which is super convenient. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Siquijor.
