Family-friendly vacation rentals in Naxos

Sergio’s villa was the most beautiful place that we have ever stayed. Olive and citrus trees right in the yard and pristine views of Mount Etna. Restaurants, coffee, shops, and pharmacies were all within short walks from the home. I would stay again in a heartbeat, if Sergio would have us.

The apartment was very modern and clean. It is centered nearby the castle - note that the streets are pretty small in the center of the village, so it's better when you have a small car. Also, the road from Catania to Montalbano are very curvy and damaged at the end.

The check-in was flexible and easily arranged. The villa was beautiful and very comfortable for two couples, located outside of the city which makes it easy to unplug and relax. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Carlo was a super friendly host. We felt welcome in the truest sense of the word. We were greeted by him personally with a huge bowl of fresh fruit and a homemade cake! Carlo was very concerned about our well-being and gave us lots of great tips and recommendations for the region. The house with the large garden in a very quiet location offers a great view of Mount Etna and at the same time you can hear the sound of the sea. The house is very tastefully furnished, very clean and comfortable. As soon as it got dark, we enjoyed the view of Mount Etna from the fireplace. We would love to come back at any time and can highly recommend this accommodation.

We had a fantastic eight day stay in Mario’s wonderful villa. The location and views are incredible and we would highly recommend staying here. Mount Etna even erupted and put on a display (which was fabulous to witness) and Mario was hot on the phone telling us to get outside at 11pm to view the spectacle. A perfect venue with lots of space for our large party of eight adults and two children, the surrounding patios gave amazing panoramic views of the sea and countryside. We loved picking fresh oranges and cherries daily which was so relaxing and tasty! It’s a short 15 minute walk to the local town with a wonderful bakery and butchers plus supermarkets all accessable. We will definitely return to this wonderful villa when revisiting Sicily and I can’t recommend it enough! Thank you Mario .

The apartment was spotless and very central. Within walking distance of all the main tourist areas in Catania and the cathedral is literally 1 minute away. Some lovely restaurants nearby too. The roof terrace is a very big, fantastic outdoor space. Only downside was the noise from the bars at night, but to be honest, this stopped about midnight and most nights we enjoyed visiting them anyway.

Great villa up on the slopes. Drive up to the villa can be a little daunting at first but you get used to it after the first couple of times! The views is incredible, waking up to see the sunrise every day was lovely. Hot tub was great in the cooler evenings. Location is decent when you consider you can take the train from Mascali to pretty much anywhere on the East coast. Just have to factor in the drive (15 mins) or walk (1 Hour) when taking the train. Otherwise you're not far from the main road E45. The kitchen is beautiful, we all loved cooking in their, and the common space big enough to be spacious for 9 people. The icing on the cake was the pizza party, Alberto brings ingredients and dough for the pizzas and you get to make/bake them yourselves.

Lovely apartment with very large terrace , great help getting our heavy bags up to room. Super location and host help organise taxi when we needed it.

We had a wonderful stay here! The town can be reached by bus or taxi, but make sure you’re not travelling on a public holiday (like us!) The apartment is tidy and quite spacious, and the balcony is perfect! The kitchen has everything you need with some lovely gifts of local produce left by the host. The town is beautiful and walkable, we came just before fireworks festival and were able to see some amazing local displays of celebration. The bells on the church ring out every 15 minutes between 6am and 10pm, but we were enjoyed the sound. The hosts are so helpful and lovely - really good people Highly recommend

An interesting 3rd floor Sicilian style apartment, light and bright with everything needed from beach equipment to knives and coffee pots. Comfortable beds and very clean throughout. A great location for beach, restaurants and day trips, Etna a draw. I would recommend this flat.

We had a wonderful stay at the appartement. We really enjoyed the beautiful balcony and the nature all around. We even got nice fresh fruits out of the garden!

Andreas house is like a home away from home. It is thoughtfully decorated, the lavastonehouse is charming and inside it has everything you need. The ourdoors is beautiful! The view is spectacular, the kids loved the pool and the sorroundings are unimaginable. You have to see it to understand, how wonderful it is. Andrea is the perfect helpful and informative host. The area is peaceful, a bit rural, but that makes it just better.

Beautiful stay with a view of Etna from the terrace (with an eruption in addition!). Great communication (even if I didn't speak Italian) with Cesare, who reminds us that we must be "tranquilo";) Small touches for breakfast and he even guided us on foot to eat at the mamme del borgo. Thank you!☺️

Giuseppe is an exceptional host, very helpful and available. The village of Motta Camastra is very nice and the view is sublime. We were lucky to be there during the 2 days of the village festival so we could enjoy the concerts, fireworks, processions, illuminations and brass band. The apartment is very functional, well located in the village and allows you to enjoy the various visits to do in the vicinity including Etna. We regret not staying longer!

The place was great and as advertised! The WiFi did not work well but otherwise it was a lovely stay in a great area of town. Very good location!

We were two Canadian couples staying for 5 nights (after visiting Milano/Genova), with a car that we rented at Catania airport. We arrivred at 9PM but our host Nando was communicating us and received us in person. Upon arrival, fridge had some complimentary sandwiches, juice drinks and snacks, and a delicious homemade cake. Lovely place, peaceful, spacious, additional to detail, comes as advertised. Beautiful 180 degree view, when sitting outside by the pool, and even from main salon/kitchen. Loved the bedrooms and in particular the high quality mattresses and sheets. Made good use of the washing machine as we had a lot of laundry from our first week in Italy. Nando was very thoughful and proactive in checking in on us and suggesting places to visit and eat at. Good location, about a 10-15 minute drive to Taormina parking and a short drive to get on highway to visit Mount Etna or Syracuse/Ortigia. We had a wonderful stay in Sicily, thank you Nando!

We stayed 2 weeks and it was a great base for exploring the east side of Sicily and Etna. A hire car is essential as the apartment is located in a quiet spot away from the main centres. The apartment itself was spacious and comfortable with great views from the wrap around balcony. The swimming pool was a real bonus - we made use of it most days. Salvatore & Antonio were very helpful and responsive to requests (many thanks!). Highly recommended if, like us, you are looking for a peaceful getaway.

The villa is great, and the garden and pool are huge and very attractive, and also well maintained. Paul is an excellent host, friendly and responsive. You definitely need a car here as there are no pavements on the road outside the gates and the traffic whizzes along it. The local town, Trecastagni, is nice, with bars, restaurants and shops of all sorts. Overall our stay was excellent. The only downside was a building site next door that was noisy and created fumes and dust during the week, but I guess that won't be forever. Already missing it, the morning swim especially, and of course the sight (and sound) of Etna. Highly recommended. Visit Taormina while you're there. And try the Etna DOC wines.

Quiet and beautiful courtyard, cozy room, timely response, and very good dinner!At dinner we tasted the red wine of the local estate, as well as the lemon wine made by Karen & Diego!I am now back at home in Hong Kong, drinking lemon wine bought from Sicily (not as good as Karen & Diego's homemade), still missing the scenery I saw when I had dinner in this small courtyard. Also, when we got up in the morning, we saw the eruption of Mount Etna from the window!A once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Gorgeous house, excellent location, and such gracious hosts! Daniele and his parents were both lovely. The space is clean and has everything we needed. The pool is the perfect afternoon relaxing spot. It’s well kept and very clean, which we can only imagine a huge feat considering the volcanic ashes! We also went up Mt Etna with Daniele. He’s a great guide as well! Overall 10/10 recommend.

Helgas place exceeded our expectations. We had family of 7 and the apartment is spacious and very comfortable with an amazing view . The location is quiet whilst being only a few minutes walk from the town centre . We had a problem with the shower head and it was sorted within a couple of hours . Great service . The large swimming pool is very clean and beautiful. The bedroom is clean and spacious. I really like it here.And also parking is free.

Thank you Claudia, the check-in and check-out instructions were very simple and flexible. The apartment was very quiet, with a nice view, and a pleasant environment among lemon trees and cycas! The apartment is very well equipped and we did not lack anything, it was a very good choice for our family with our last 2 children. The pool was a little cool this season, but we still bathed in. I imagine it must be exceptional the summer of returning from a hike on Etna over a barbecue! We enjoyed the functionality of the apartment, having breakfast in the sun on the terrace facing the sea, the tranquility of the place and the view of Etna from the pool. Thank you very much
