House vacation rentals in Nawala

This was our first stay out of a few others in Sri Lanka. We had an amazing time. We, as a family of 5 stayed 2 nights at Lalin's place and it was a great start to our trip. Luxurio villa with greenery all around, not too far from city centre. Well spacious rooms and all available amenities at the kitchen made it a perfect stay. Cherry on the cake was the swimming pool which calls you to take a dip after a busy touristy dayout :-) Lalin and the caretaker was proactive, helped us with a flexible early check-in and also took care of our queries in advance. This property is a definite recommendation for anyone visiting Colombo. Thanks, Bithika

A very "cozy" apartment indeed: it suited our family of 3 adults perfectly. Amazing views & ambience. The apartment is located in a very central part of Colombo with easy access to many eateries, hotels & shopping outlets. There is a supermarket directly opposite the apartment building, which was extremely convenient. The apartment building had excellent security staff, who were so very kind & obliging, a BIG THANK YOU to them for helping us with all our luggage & shopping bags at varied intervals & also helping us safely navigate the many cabbies we travelled with.😀 The owner of the apartment was flexible with check-in & check-out times which was so helpful. He even met us at the apartment when we checked in way early in the morning. Disappointingly the wifi in the apartment was very unreliable. All other appliances including the washing machine & hot water system worked fine though, no problems. A fantastic holiday stay all in all! 🌸

Great location, and more than I expected. We had a great time and the host was really good at checking in on us and making the whole trip smooth. He taught how to turn on the POOL JACUZZI!! It was amazing! The bed sheets and towels were brand new or felt new! The space was spotless. We walked right across to the beach and had some amazing food! Surprise is mentioned the hosts name and you get some great service. Everyone seems to know him! The backyard is really quiet and you can have a lovely drink in the Gazebo overlooking the pool. This was a great find! I would recommend this for single and family visitors! Sri Lanka is amazing and the host is a true island hospitality king! We felt safe in the house and the neighborhood. Great WiFi and fully stocked kitchen! Bathrooms were spotless and great shower pressure. We loved it all and wished we stayed longer.

We had a good stay at this property. It was fully-equipped and had all the convenience. Communication was good too.

Anouk and Sunil’s place is in a quiet neighborhood. Both of them are extremely helpful and private and respect your space too. The house is done up beautifully and is safe and secure. We loved the place and will come back again for sure!

Location is perfect and very convenient to all amnesties. Upeksha is responding very quickly and friendly. Very clean home with nice pool. no parking issues. Prefer to go again and there is no hesitation to recommend this place.

We had a wonderful three night stay at Hemashanthi Latha’s place. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. Hemashanthi and her daughter greeted us with warm smiles and a refreshing king coconut, which was such a thoughtful and welcoming gesture. The house was exactly as described. superb, spotlessly clean, and incredibly peaceful. It felt more like a home than just a place to stay. The surroundings were private and serene, making it a perfect escape within the city. All the facilities in the house were well maintained and convenient. We especially appreciated the ample parking space and the ease of coming and going at any hour without any issues. A special mention goes to their lovely dog, who added an extra layer of warmth to our stay. Such a friendly and beautiful furry companion. A Soulful Sanctuary in Sri Lanka Wasana’s home is not just a stay it’s an experience steeped in warmth, elegance, and emotion. The architecture is nothing short of stunning, with every corner crafted with love and intention. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that this house was built not just with bricks, but with heart and heritage. We slept soundly each night wrapped in soft, organic cotton blankets and resting on cloud-like pillows, surrounded by tranquility and nature. The home is a perfect blend of modern comfort and vintage charm: an open kitchen that inspires, a magnificent dining table that seats eight in style, cozy tree-lined roads, and a calming private aquarium that adds a serene rhythm to the space. Located near Diyatha Uyana, the new Parliament, and just steps from Keells supermarket, the location is convenient yet incredibly peaceful. The lush greenery around the property feels like a private retreat. Wasana herself is a gracious host attentive, kind, of magic ✨

This house is in an excellent location of Colombo. It’s closely to many good restaurants and cafes. The house is very cosy and can be enjoyed by both families and business people alike. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

Have just spent our 2nd stay here. For us, the garden is why we returned, which is kept very tidy by Velu. So peaceful to relax in during the day, with plenty of varied wildlife to entertain you during the day, especially the chipmunks. Our bedroom was comfortable, bed linen clean, a/c & ceiling fan kept it cool. Bathroom/ shower room ample size and more than satisfactory. Kitchen had everything as described, which includes the washing machine. We spent 99% of our time outside either in the garden or under the spacious veranda. No issue with WiFi. Keels supermarket 4 min walk away which has everything you might need. Good local food outlets, and we have tried them all in the past 2 years with no problems. Best find was Crepe Runner which is well worth the 10min stroll. Felt safe and secure with Velu on hand for anything you might need, together with Chaminder who will pop round at least twice a day, to check that everything is fine. Would have no hesitation staying again.

We had to visit our mum in the retirement home around 500m from this beautiful modern house. Thus this location provided flexibility to spend much time with mum during the day. Kumar was efficient in handing over the keys and directing us to find transport, new restaurants etc. It was easy to communicate with Uthpala about our late arrival and find ways to recieve keys. The neighbourhood was quiet in the late hours which allowed us to rest well. The house was clean and spacious. I loved all 3 toilets/bathrooms specially because it was clean and carried all basic aminities. Good wifi allowed us to work remotely. Check out was easy as well and Uthpala provided clear instructions to leave keys. I will book this place again when I visit with my teenage son.

What a gem of an Airbnb! Roshan's newly built house truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how spotlessly clean it was. The kitchen is fantastically equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the bedrooms are wonderfully cozy – perfect for relaxing after a day out. The location is ideal, offering easy access to the main road, which meant restaurants and shops were just a stone's throw away. Roshan is an absolute delight as a host; his responsiveness and genuine care for our comfort were evident throughout our stay. He continuously checked if we needed anything, which we really appreciated. We can't wait to visit again!

Stayed at Sithila’s for one night and the place was great! It’s quiet and private and pretty much matches the description. However, I was unable to reach the number provided on this app, I had to Google Honey way apartments and call the number on there to check in. But nevertheless, they were very welcoming and accommodating with the check-in/check-out times. I would book a stay again. Highly recommended!

This is my third time staying at Yas's place. First 02 times I was traveling Solo but this time came with my wife. Self and wife had a great stay here! The host was extremely helpful right from booking all the way to check out, always checking up on us through messages to see if we had any problems, and always replying promptly. she had been really prompt in communication Short walk to local supermarket and Tuk Tuk stand. Local amenities include pharmacy, Restaurants and take away shops all within walking distance. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Sri Lanka. would recommend the place for everyone who comes to this part of Colombo.

First of all I have to admit I live in the United States and I was trying to find a place for some family members. I found this place and from the moment I found this place I started communicating with the host . She was very efficient and was helping all the way . She is very kind and very helpful and very friendly and the place was so clean and it was a nice location I highly recommend to this place to anyone specially anyone who is coming from abroad . She is a very good host and rest no assured she will you the best she can . Thanks

We had a wonderful stay at the Colombo Residence. Ample space, air conditioning in all rooms and common gathering areas, restaurants and grocery options close by, comfortable beds. The highlight for us was the caretaker, Kumara, who lives there with his lovely wife. He was very responsive to our needs, cooked up tasty Sri Lankan breakfasts every morning, and so kind to our children. Would recommend to all.

Second time staying here coz it’s the best place in Colombo. Feels like home, fully equipped kitchen. No traffic noise and just peaceful, but still so close to everything 10mins walk away

My family and I spent a few days at this stunning place. The property is larger and more beautiful than the pictures suggest. We were blown away! I was occupied with bird watching in the morning and afternoon. The view is amazing and the garden is beautiful. The place is perfectly located if you are looking for a peaceful place that feels remote in Colombo. You can get Tuks or taxis to get you to Galle Face or other parts of Colombo. If you are looking to stay in Malabe or Battaramulla - this is unbeatable. We enjoyed the proximity to my wife’s family. We wish we found this place earlier and will very happily recommend it to our friends and stay there again in the future. Thank you, Kaushi, for an unforgettable stay!

This Airbnb was lovely and very quiet. However, the only issue was co-ordinating to get the hot water switched on. But we'd definitely stay here again! The area is very peaceful and close to the ocean. Gajanan and his mother were very kind and helpful during our stay 😊🫶
