As much as we would love to welcome all, the setting isn't child friendly and definitely offers a more wonderful getaway for two.

Located in the tranquil farmland just outside Plettenberg Bay, our property combines countryside tranquility with breathtaking coastal views. Enjoy both the wild ocean, scenic hiking trails and the splendor of what Plett has to offer all within a 10km radius.

"Bird Song" private getaway, tucked away in nature

"Bird Song" is named after the host of bird calls that greet you each morning (and the night jars that you hear after dark). It is the perfect 'private bush camp' for a ‘family-of-4’ vacation or for a secluded ‘get-away-from-it-all retreat’ for couples. The architect designed timber structure is set on a slope with views through and over the fynbos and right at the edge of pristine Indigenous Forest. A wood fired fireplace ensures you are (relatively) warm in winter.

The Nautilus House

A Private bohemian styled family home, situated just a slow scenic 20 minute drive from Plettenberg Bay. The Nautilus House offers views overlooking the indigenous Tsitsikamma forest. Natures Valley offers the best of both worlds - peaceful and unspoilt and yet within a stones throw of the vibrant Garden route towns of Plettenberg Bay (30km) & Knysna (60km). The village itself comprises of just 300 houses, a shop and a restaurant. It is unique in that it is completely surrounded by the Tsitsikama National park. Aside from the stunning beach there is a large lagoon, which makes it ideal for all ages.

This gorgeous cottage is a perfect spot for travellers to rest their weary feet, or a couple wanting to appreciate the natural surroundings of Natures Valley for few nights. It is attached to our current family home. It has its own patio over-looking a lovely garden, which attracts many birds. The unspoiled beach is 50m from the house. Hikes, basic shop and restaurant all accessible on foot.
