Cabin is tucked away from everything. No other houses can be seen from the cabin. The cabin overlooks a beautiful pond with a small waterfall cascading in. Cabin was sustainability built with trees from the 20 acres it sits on. McAfee's Knob trailhead is 10 minutes away, Andy Layne trailhead to tinker cliffs is 9 minutes away.

Falling Pines Historic Cabin
The original log cabin was built in 1936 by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). These cabins were built after the Blue Ridge Parkway was laid in 1935, which is just down the street. With love and attention our cabin's renovations were complete in 2017. We kept the original log walls to add a rustic feel to the contemporary, crisp clean decor. The cottage overlooks the babbling waters of Back Creek but is just a 5 minute drive to the grocery store, private yet convenient.

Enjoy our rustic, cozy, historic log cabin in the woods on 21 acres with two streams and a little meadow. The logs, from the 1800's, were reconfigured 17 years ago combining a rich history with high speed internet and modern amenities. Sink into the luscious bed with totally organic sheets, mattress topper, and pillows. Take a walk on the original wagon train road down to a stream or bath your senses in the majestic view of Jump Mountain from the meadow.

Mason Jar Cabin Rustic mountain getaway
New cabin built 2019 in the heart of pocahontas county! Just a 28 mile drive to Snowshoe ski resort. It has a bedroom downstairs with a queen bed, upstairs bedroom has a full bed with open loft overlooking kitchen and living room area, bathroom downstairs with standup shower. It has a heat pump, two TVs & WIFI also a fully equipped kitchen. We have a fire pit outside and a charcoal grill. The 77 mile greenbrier river trail is directly in front of our cabin.
