Family-friendly vacation rentals in Nassau

Sunrise Beach Villas is our slice of heaven in this world! Steve was very responsive and helpful. He has a wonderful place to stay and we’ll be back for sure!

Arrived and were taken to our unit and given all instructions. 2 pools (note: not heated) and we couldn't believe how close we were to the beach - easy to run back and forth all day. Easy walk to the marina with liquor store, groceries, Dunkin, other restaurants as well as Atlantis. We did the day pass there, which was enough - I was happy we chose the AirBnB vs. the hotel - more our speed (kids are 12 and 9). Spent every night playing Yahtzee on the awesome patio, listening to the waves crash. Unit size was plenty and had all necessary kitchen + bath items. The onsite restaurant was great; recommend ordering to-go to save time. Neighbors were friendly and we loved the cats!! Our family can't wait to go back!

We had a great family vacation stay at this airbnb. Very spacious and clean and exactly like the photos. There are starter amenities including dish soap, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and body soap. The Infiniti pool was beautiful and overlooked the ocean. You have to walk down some steps to the beach which is a little rocky with seaweed and doesn’t have much sand. But you can walk in the ocean and go left or right to get to a more sandy beach section. The property itself was a perfect location and easy to get to restaurants and shops. There is also a parking spot if you rent a car. The internet was on and off at times. The pool area also has internet and a bbq which was nice. Overall a great stay.

Nice rental with four bedrooms. Separate A/C in each room worked well, as did the common area A/C. Comfortble beds of different firmness levels, so people had lots of flexibility. Did not use the kitchen but it seems to be complete. Owner met us on-site and welcomed us in. Quiet location. We only stayed one night but this would be a nice place for a family for multiple days

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Juliette’s place. It was just as described, clean and very comfortable/convenient. The location was great - close walking distance to a beautiful public beach and the world famous Atlantis with great attractions and restaurants. The place was also convenient enough for us to go into Nassau for a night out. Juliette and Byron were extremely nice, responsive and knowledgeable/helpful - they answered our questions thoroughly and promptly and helped any way they could. We’d definitely come back and stay with Juliette again. Hands down recommend her place.

This house is soooooooo much better than is described and shown in the pictures. This is a beautiful home with lots of window light shinning throughout. Whenever I travel to Nassau with my family I will stay here. My family of 6 spent a very comfortable and outstanding week in this home. All of the 4 well furnished bedrooms are upstairs with 2 full bathrooms , one of which is located in the master bedroom at the top of the stairs. The kitchen has eveything needed to cook meals for a family of 6 and the gas grill is very clean. The swimming pool is clean and is nicely maintained. The patio and deck around the pool was very well lit with ceiling fans outside of the pool house. There is ample seating outside around the pool. My family and I spent a good amount of time sitting around the pool in the evening. The temperature was perfect at night. The beach is literally a 2 min walk away and is very clean with public bathrooms. My family felt very safe in this home and at the beach.

TL/DR:Awesome place. Not convenient to anything but that is exactly the point. Highly recommend Chef Everton Smith - book well in advance Pro: chill, quiet, clean, safe, relaxing, private, no nightclubs/late night bars, no yelling or screaming, beach front, good kitchen, purified water tap, good water pressure, ample hot water, good internet speed, satellite tv, host arranged transportation to and from airport Cons: all bedrooms on upper floors, no black out curtains in any bedroom, bed rooms are stuffy with A/C so must open doors to hallways, bathrooms stay damp, no bug screens - can’t keep outside doors open w/o having flies, narrow stairs with only partial rails, nearby restaurant just above average, everything in the Bahamas is pricy, limited activities, expensive clubhouse/pool pass must be purchased for a 3 day minimum and for all occupants (even those that can not utilize the pool), 45-60 min from the airport and 30 min to town by taxi.

The stay was very pleasant. The accommodation was quite comfortable and equipped with everything necessary for a pleasant stay. The location is excellent, with easy access to the city's attractions. Furthermore, the hostess was extremely friendly and always willing to help with any questions or needs that arose. Her attention made the experience even more positive. I highly recommend this place to those seeking comfort, a good location, and exceptional service.

Janice was so kind! She was extremely responsive and considerate of our needs. We particularly enjoyed the serenity of the location, and the en-suite bathrooms for every bedroom. We *will* recommend to friends and family traveling to the Bahamas, and plan to return again when traveling with a large group.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. Around 15min walk to a beach and 30min from downtime. Super responsive hosts who were helpful in arranging transport. Room is as described and perfect for a short stay

Don's place is incredible. A beautiful home, well kept, clean, and comfortable. The neighborhood is nice, there's shopping nearby, and theres hornets to take you right downtown. Don and Samantha were gracious hosts, met us at the house when we arrived, checked in throughout the stay, and were always quick with a response. Thanks guys!

We had a wonderful vacation stay at this Airbnb with our kids! The home was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable family stay. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were cozy, and there was plenty of room for the kids to play both inside and outside. The location was amazing —close to ocean, shops, and restaurants, yet peaceful and quiet at night. The host Kevin was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, making check-in and check-out super easy. We truly felt at home and would definitely come back again. Highly recommend this place for families traveling with kids!

We had a great time at the Rose studio - We received a warm welcome from Peo and we are thankful for your hospitality with Annie. I can only echo the review from Liz from Toronto Canada - The studio is very compact and it has all you need. You can walk to the supermarket and the beach in 20 minutes. It really suited us as it was remote and quiet. We really enjoyed sitting by the pool. We truly had a wonderful and relaxing time and we loved how tranquil the place was. Thank you again I have already recommended you to friends & colleagues for a place to stay in the Bahamas.

It was the perfect location for a wonderful holiday! isi is a great host, she picked us up at the airport and helped us with bookings! she also gives us a ride to the supermarket! we really enjoyed our stay at her place and will defenitely recommend it

We had a great experience. Would absolutely stay here again. The neighborhood is beautiful, right next to the beach and has delicious restaurants. The hosts are kind and very responsive.

Cheryl and Monty are absolutely incredible! Me and my friend felt so truly welcomed in to the country. Cheryl provided us a lot of good information about the country and was lovely to chat with. Definitely would recommend!!

This is a very nice property located in one of the best parts of the island. Half of block away from a really nice small beach with reefs where you can see fish and crab. Pristine crystal clear waters that reach your knees. 12 minutes from Paradise island and near pharmacies and grocery stores. Clean as a whistle, A/C in all bedrooms, comfortable beds, TVs everywhere. Nice home out of home ambience.

Cynthia’s place was amazing! She’s such a sweet woman and we felt right at home at her spot. If you’re thinking of staying here - definitely stay!! It is on the east side of the island so about 30 mins from downtown Nassau but if you have a car rental no problems at all! Her son Kevin was so great to help us with any question we had and they had two puppies who were just the sweetest!!! 🐾 Would love to come back and visit!! Thank you again Cynthia!
