this is by far the nicest ABB i’ve ever booked at this price point! exactly 6 minutes from Starved Rock State Park & right “downtown” in the cutest little town- literally next door to restaurants, cafes, ice cream, pub, shops. i stayed in the Log Cabin room, & had a bathroom all to myself, super clean room, comfy bed, fresh soft linens.. even complimentary waters in the fridge- perfect after a long day of hiking. i watched a movie on the big screen TV with Roku, & slept peacefully. parking was right at the front door! super easy checkin & the hosts were always quick to respond to my messages. wish i had booked for more nights! loved it.

This is a great weekend getaway for friends or family! Michelle was a great host by checking in with me during the first couple hours of our stay making sure that we were satisfied with everything. We had zero problems with the state of the house, pool, and hot tub. Our stay was great!

This was the best airbnb experience that we have ever had. Larry gave us an amazing tour of the home and made us feel right at home. We loved hearing about all of the history! The place was beautifully decorated and spotlessly cleaned! The place was quiet and we felt very safe. We would love to come back to rent this place for family reunions! If I could give this more than 5 stars, I would! Amazing experience!
