Lovely place to stay! It was super convenient having the train station less than a 5 minute walk away! If you are bringing dogs it’s a great area to walk them, many sidewalks surrounding the location! The house was very clean and we had everything we needed! Would stay here again!

Stayed here the night before my wedding with my siblings who stayed the night of the wedding. We hosted our getting ready portion here for the morning of the wedding and Olinka and Daniel were gracious enough to allow us to stay in their beautiful home. We loved being that close to historic Elgin. We walked everywhere and the location made it easy to go anywhere in Chicagoland. Tom was a great host. Overall it was a memorable stay and we’d love to come back.

This was a perfect stay for us. Food around the area was so good! Especially if you’re looking for a breakfast spot. We loved it and we felt right at home . Everything was clean and organized and had provided proper things as well

We spent a truly wonderful two months at Scott and Liz’s home, it was an incredibly happy and comfortable time for our whole family. Scott was always quick to respond whenever we had a need, and Liz thoughtfully anticipated furniture we might use. Special thanks to Liz’s husband, who kindly delivered items we needed right to our door. Our family got along so well with Scott, he was always kind, respectful, and welcoming. The house itself was spotless, modern, and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. It truly felt like home from the moment we arrived. Words can’t fully express the joy and satisfaction we felt during these two months. This home is perfect for families, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone traveling with loved ones. We look forward to seeing Scott and his family again in the future!

The hosts were great at communication. Always available. The guest house was wonderful and well stocked. Even left us a coffee cake and coffee for breakfast. St Charles is a beautiful area and peaceful as advertised. Had a wonderful time. Highly recommend.. Very friendly.

Megan’s place was absolutely perfect!! So many added touches that made it feel like home. We were really happy there was a water cooler! The bed was SO comfortable and the shower had wonderful water pressure. Also would recommend the wine and chocolate add on! And if you’re lucky you’ll get to meet Lilah 🐶! The only thing worth mentioning is this is a basement studio and Megan and Andrew live upstairs - so you can hear movement (which was in the listing!) but we had no issues, they keep regular hours! Highly, highly recommend! If it’s available, book it!

My wife and I were looking to rent a space for a quick weekend away to see Beyoncé. She and I prefer the quiet of the suburbs and this property gave us everything we wanted and more. The owners were kind, provided snacks and coffee in the unit. This location was a quick drive to several delicious restaurants and we ate wonderfully while there. The bed was so comfortable and the decor was eclectic. We were able to make it back to Cincinnati in time to see our daughter graduate, well rested and happy with our stay.

This was the perfect place to stay while attending a 5 day event close by. The location was perfect: safe, peaceful and convenient. Iris was friendly and in helpful communication from the start. She was available, responsive and flexible. I look forward to staying again and would recommend!

Loved everything about this place! I cannot say enough good things about my stay. I will say, it is quite far from Chicago. It didn’t quite matter for me as I knew I wanted to find a place away from the city but on a week day it is about an hour or so from downtown. The place was quiet, pillows insanely comfortable, amazing shower, kitchen was great and well equipped, clean washer and dryer, easy to get in and out of the place. Great place to stay.

We had a great stay at this place. The location is very nice. Get to be outside of downtown still while close enough to visit whenever you’d like. The retro vibes of the home itself is very cozy and unique. Will definitely book again if we ever come back.

This is the best Airbnb we’ve stayed in and we’ve been back so many times it feels like coming home. Softest sheets ever! Cute decor. Nicole is a fantastic host and if ever needed responds quickly. But we usually don’t need to contact her because everything is perfect!

A great spot!! A friend and I were in town for a concert and this place was perfect! The patio was really cool and Tom has the cutest dog!!

Susie’s place was a terrific stay close to downtown Elgin. The neighborhood felt safe and was mostly quiet with joyful music one evening but stopping early in the night. Susie was responsive and helpful and the house was a comfortable stay.

Honestly the entire stay was great! It my fiancé and I’s first Airbnb booked and scheduled alone. The stay was great and the scenery was beautiful.
