This place was our biggest AirBnB in Japan. Clean and just as advertised. We really enjoyed our stay here. The little crepe place around the corner was amazing and so well priced, a great local area. Easy to find and to enter. Would recommend to anyone with a bigger group. Lots of pillows as well which has been hard to find. Thanks for the stay!

A great accommodation! Loved the traditional house and the surrounding quiet streets. Both me and my partner enjoyed the house overall, the futons and blankets were especially comfortable. Shunsuke was a very helpful and kind host, providing us with all the information needed for a smooth stay.

honestly it was so peaceful that it rocked me to my core. it gave me the relaxation i longed for. if you want peace this is it. locals do ceremonies on nearby shrines,it makes for a beautiful and soulful experience.

Staying at Koichi’s place made our Kyoto trip very special! He was very friendly and gave us a tour of the house. He also showed us around Kyoto, including a beautiful lookout where we saw all of the city. It was so wonderful staying at his place and experiencing a bit of traditional Kyoto. We also enjoyed the matcha offered there which you can purchase for a small price yum 😋 Next time we’re in Kyoto we will definitely be staying here again. Thanks Koichi!

Convenient transportation, but quiet in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Surrounded by a living community and some shrines.It says it can accommodate up to five people, but because there is only one bathroom, five people will still be cramped.

This is the ideal place to stay when visit Kyoto, so close to the Kyoto station. The place is charming, spacious, convenient. We all appreciated the Japanese bath and the massage chair. They helped us relax and recuperated after a long day walking and sightseeing. The host was great, provided us with clear instructions and quick communication via messages. We will definitely recommend this place to others.

The room is very clean and tidy, suitable for friends to travel and stay together; it is a 10-minute walk from Karasuma Kujo subway station, but the location is safe and quiet; the host is warm and friendly and communicates promptly, it was a very good experience!

The location of the house is very comfortable. The atmosphere of Kyoto is very good. You can walk to Kinkakuji Temple. What was lacking in the US was that it was very bright at night when sleeping at night with the street light right outside the room window right next door

Very beautiful and clean accomodation. We were a group of five and were able to just fit all of our luggages in. The inclusion of a second shower and second toilet was much appreciated. The Wi-Fi network was also very fast which we loved because some of us had to do work online while on holiday. Flexible check-in was greatly appreciated. I am glad we stayed here and would love to come back again.

We were very excited when we saw how new, clean and modern this place is. It looks like it has just been remodeled. For Japan, it was also quite spacious. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were clean and very nice. This location is in a quieter neighborhood, but still close to Kyoto station (10 min walk). There were restaurants around, but not as many as there are on the other side of the train station, where there is a lot more tourist traffic and noise. That said, one of our favorite dinners of the whole trip was right around the corner from this place. Would be nice to have blackout shades in bedroom number 2, otherwise this place was perfect for us (family of 4) and served as a delightful oasis for us to return to after a full day in Kyoto.

Exactly what we needed after the last few weeks in hotels. It made us feel like we were locals for that moment. Everything is 10mins walk away and you’re close to the river for those sunrise/ sunset walks.

we had a great stay, we felt comfortable, we slept well. it was nice to stay in and experience japanese traditional living space. bed was comfortable, heater and heated floor rug kept us warm during the colder weather. space was nice and plenty for the 5 of us. locationwise was great since it was just 2-3 minutes walk to the train station and less than 10 minutes walk to Fushimi Inari shrine entrance. Sorrounding neighborhood was so peaceful. we loved it!

Beautiful house one station away from Kyoto station, the interior matches the description. The house has everything you might need amenities-wise. The futon beds are also very comfy. We enjoyed our stay.

We stayed in Erics Apartment as a group of six people and had a great week. Instructions for check-in were easy to follow, Eric answered really fast when we had any questions during our stay. We loved the apartment, it was spacious and the rooms were nicely seperated, with 2 toilets being a blessing for a group of 6 people. Eric also provided anything we needed during our stay. The traditional interior made it a great experience as well. The apartment is located in a nice and quiet neighbourhood of Kyoto, with convenience stores and some restaurants close by. Train and bus stations are also really close, so you can easily reach any part of Kyoto. Would definetely come back!

Beautifully designed with an authentic Japanese feel. Karen's place is clean, comfortable, and ideal for a larger group. The location is perfect, walking distance to the main area and train station, with great restaurants and coffee nearby. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again!

I highly recommend Leo’s home. It’s located in an awesome neighborhood very close to Umeda. Despite its proximity to Osaka station the neighborhood is quiet and had a ton of cute shops and restaurants. The home was clean, spacious and perfect for our family of four. I highly recommend Leo’s home.

This was our favorite place we stayed in Japan. It was larger than expected inside with a dining table and two spaces for tea. The sleeping area was also spacious and relaxing with shoji screens on all the windows. The neighborhood is very quiet and private with a nice stone path inside the gate. It's a 5 minute walk to Kyomizu-dera template, and 20 minutes to Gion. Walking back at night through the side streets is especially pleasant compared to staying in a hotel downtown.

Our family of four loved staying here. We were very comfortable and loved the traditional features of the home. Close to everything!!

There was a little difficulty when checking in, the key box could not be opened according to the google address, and then walked a hundred meters to find the correct house.The reason for choosing this home is because the decoration style is particularly in line with my aesthetic and is actually exactly as pictured.The lack of the United States is that there are a lot of huge ants indoors, and I hope it can be improved.The surroundings are quiet, suitable for people who do not sleep well, there are convenience stores and supermarkets just a few tens of meters away.

Beautiful machiya-style home — very clean and comfortable. The outdoor shower and hot tub were amazing, a great and relaxing way to end each day. About a 10-minute walk to the train station, so easy to get around while still feeling peaceful and a bit secluded. Derrik was very communicative and friendly, and had a book with clear instructions for everything!
