Vacation rentals in Nam Ngum River

Centrally located to a lot of restaurants and coffee shops(which is important to me). The pool is a cool refreshing spot to spend time to get out of the mid day heat. Breakfast is made to order with fresh eggs and baguettes...delicious. our host Ann has been extremely helpful with transportation and recommendations for restaurants. Can be a bit lively at night from nearby bars. Overall a good choice for a basic place to stay.

From the moment you step in the boat for the ride to Secret Island you are transported to the most unforgettable experience in Laos. Staying in the treehouse is magical, the bed so very comfortable & the breeze & surrounding gardens so refreshing. Paul is a gracious & entertaining host providing beautiful meals, laughter & local knowledge. So many things to do the walk to Blue Lagoon 4 through villages, swimming in the river, kayaking or simply reading in luxurious bean bags on the verandah of the treehouse with a G & T in hand. Mei was so charming, beautiful & intelligent & we learnt a lot about Laos & its culture from her. Definitely the highlight of our travels & Laos.

I really enjoyed my time here. Nouth has created a unique , jungly vibe and I enjoyed returning home in the evening to such pretty surroundings. Nouth was so helpful with transport and was always on hand if I had any questions. I wouldn’t hesitate to return and recommend. Thank you 🙏

Jun created a little paradise (and making it better and better). Amazing view and swims in the water. Within 10 minutes with free kajak into the village. I would highly recommendent this place if you wanna take some time to relax in Laos!!!

We loved our stay at the sunset resort. It was the most amazing view over the lake watching the water buffalo and fishermen and the sunsets. The only caution I would add is that wifi did not work in our room at all and only kinda worked in the restaurant. So I wouldn’t recommend this place for digital nomads. But if you want to disconnect in a serene environment this is the place

Such a kind family! They made sure we had everything we needed -- from helping with tours, feeding us, helping with our luggage, and arranging tuk tuks. The food in the restaurant is delicious!! The bungalow, less than 10 mins walking from the restaurant, was also so comfortable with a gorgeous view from the deck. Very fair price for what you get. I highly recommend staying here!! A gem. Wonderful people to connect with during your stay.

Anna and Peter were the nicest hosts anybody could ask for! They are what makes this Airbnb so special. You can ask them anything and they will give you the best answer. The Airbnb itself was perfect! You can walk anywhere in town within mintues. It also has a very nice pool to swim in at any hours of the day. The room was spacious and clean. Check in and out was flawless. If you are coming to Vang Vieng, you HAVE to stay here! you will not be disappointed!! Big shout out to Anna and Peter! Highly recommended, 5 stars!!
