We do not have a TV or audio equipment in the room.It's also great for a digital detox. It is a 2-minute drive to convenience stores, vegetable farms, restaurants, and day-use hot spring inns in Kita-Karuizawa. *About 30 minutes by car to Karuizawa and Kusatsu. * We recommend coming by car or rental car, but during the day you can come by the Kusakaru Kotsu bus from Karuizawa Station.

Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

After procuring fresh ingredients locally, move to the Rock Forest, park your car in the parking lot, and go up the stairs to bring the ingredients to the hearth space. You won't see any other people. It is 60 minutes by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Karuizawa, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so you can work in the morning and take a half-day off in the afternoon, for example. Surrounded by nature, you can relax and enjoy an extraordinary time. < Winter season November-March > The outdoor bath is closed during the winter months.
