Located on a quiet farmyard with a large garden, 3km from the Lee Valley. Host lives in another farmhouse next door. Great fishing nearby in the river Lee, national rowing center also located within 10 mins drive. 25 mins drive from Cork city, 15 mins to the Blarney stone. Easy access to West Cork and Kerry region, all reachable with day trips. Lots of great walks nearby. If you need “fast”WiFi, this is probably not the location for you. We are rural and not served by incredible internet speeds.

Miss Betty was a lovely hostess. She greeted me at the door, suggested some places for dinner, offered tea and cookies and we had a great chat. Went to a quick dinner, and had more chat and watching shows together. I don't always visit so much, but Miss Betty made it easy (and optional). What a live she's lived and is still having grand experiences. Thank you for making me feel right at home. I could feel the history and love the walls of your home has seen. 💚

Spent five nights in Teresa’s lovely well equipped barn set in beautiful countryside. She has clearly put a lot of thought into collecting furniture and other items to create a relaxing place to come home to. The kitchen has everything you need - we ate in several times and appreciated the local bread, milk, butter, and marmalade which she provided. Although the weather wasn’t kind to us, we enjoyed the area and meeting the friendly locals. Everyone should eat at ‘The Church Restaurant’ in Skibbereen - great atmosphere, friendly staff, and excellent food. (pre book). It was good to meet Teresa and learn a little about the creation of the barn. Thanks Teresa, for a comfortable relaxing stay.

It felt home from home as soon as you walked in. Beautiful home and surrounding, away from the town, making it peaceful and relaxing. Within minutes Ryan came to help switch on the heating when we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recomend and stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy home in Killarney! The house had absolutely everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. Mary was a fantastic host—so welcoming and thoughtful. She greeted us with fresh eggs, biscuits, and butter, and was always quick to respond if we needed anything. One of the highlights was the private sauna, which Mary kindly prepped for us every day—such a treat after a day of exploring! The views from the property were absolutely spectacular, and the location was perfect: peaceful and scenic, yet only about 15 minutes from the town center. Highly recommend this lovely spot to anyone visiting the area!
