Compact and cosy, and with a small compound that has grass - you can sit outside! Homely feel, super responsive host. A good place to stay when you need quiet and/or want to get some work done. The desk/chair in bedroom 1 is a nice touch. Small, high bedroom 2 window faces access road and has a slatted screen and mesh, so not much light comes through - might be an issue for some. Location (Maraba) a couple of kms into a residential zone, so bit out of the way if you like being near malls. Good value for money.

We have had an absolutely wonderful stay. Your home is cozy and comfortable. You were very hands on and responsive to our requests. Thank you for resolving the electricity issue it made our stay feel like home away from home. Emily your house manager is also very nice, extremely helpful,open to requests and she cleaned the house meticulously. Thank you for your understanding regarding booking and for communicating regularly to ensure our comfort. You are definitely a guest favourite 👍so kudos to you. If ever I am in the area or know someone who is looking for a place to stay in the locale I most definitely will recommend your place to them. Thank you for your hospitality.

Our stay at the Ligen was outstanding. Upon check-in showed the guard my confirmation of payment and they obliged. it would have helpful if they were expecting us but it was no problem at all. The unit was exactly as pictured. It was kept daily which was an added plus. Elizabeth was very attentive and we even got a chance to meet her. The washer is in a different unit but totally accessible and we were welcomed. This location was perfect for what we needed. I will definitely stay here on my next visit to Kakamega. Highly recommend.

The place was just as pictured. Elvis was such a hospitable host and was always a phone call away to cater for all our needs. We especially enjoyed the patio and the grill. The location was convenient to access amenities. This place is definitely a hidden gem.

Our stay at the Sosa Villas was very nice. Our Villa was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was clean, though could have used a thorough wipe down as I could smell food odors when I opened the cupboards. There were mosquito nets above the beds, though it took a lot of adjusting to get them to work/hang without touching us in the bed. Some of the windows in our villa did not close completely. Nice, hot shower, good products and shower shoes in the bathroom. Quiet surroundings and grounds for a restful sleep. While check- in was smooth, I did not hear at all from Bruce before arriving. I tried messaging, calling, emailing, but never received a response. We arrived and they were expecting us; check in was like any other hotel. Grace was especially kind and helpful during our stay - she went out of her way to welcome us and answer questions. We ate dinner at the restaurant and it was very good! Breakfast was excellent as well. We used the gym and pool during our stay - both very nice!

A beautiful gated home. Neighbouring is quite calm. Very clean and the host is friendly and helpful. A few minutes drive to kisumu city. Its indeed home away from home. I highly recommend.
