It is an old house built over 100 years ago, like a Kyoto townhouse, located on the Otaki-jo Castle Town Street, called Koedo in Boso. Otaki Castle (one of the Tokugawa Ieyasu Shitenno Honda) and nationally designated important cultural properties are preserved, and the old castle town, which is rare in Chiba, spreads nostalgia. Otaki shirobamboo shoots are famous for being less bitter, and the best time to eat them is from late March to late April.(Looks like it will be after the start of April this year.) If you go a little further, there is the sea, mountains, rivers, valleys, and black water hot springs.(Within 10-30 minutes by car) You can use it as a base to enjoy the nature of Boso.The Chibanyan is world famous for fishing for smelt in Lake Takataki and for the magnetic reversal that happened hundreds of thousands of years ago.(The visitor center is scheduled to open in 3 years) The facility is located overlooking the Isuzu River, and the ground is bedrock. When you come by car, it takes 20 minutes from the Ichihara Tsurumai Interchange on the Ken-o Expressway. It takes 80 minutes by express bus from Tokyo Station to Otaki. It is less than 1 hour by car from Haneda Airport and 1 hour and 10 minutes by car from Narita Airport.
