Two bedroom 800 sqft cabin with most amenities at Sulphurous Lake. Beautiful place, terrible name. Lake view and 2 minutes from boat launch. Lots of parking. Room for your boat and trailer. Our cabin has an indoor woodstove for those chilly nights and we also have an outdoor firepit. Crown land behind with kms of walking trails. Sorry, we don't offer wi-fi or cable tv, we hope you come to take a break. We do have a tv with movies and are in cellphone range.

For anyone wanting a magical peaceful relaxing retreat without tv or distractions this is the place. Mary was an amazing host very friendly and accommodating. I was a little hesitant to stay in a cabin in the woods but having Mary next door I felt very safe. Her dogs are super friendly and we did not even notice they were there as they were super quiet, we enjoyed the pets we got in when we could. The outdoor shower was amazing I have never had a better shower ever ; the view of the lake was the most neatest experience. The first night we got there we saw the fire flies that was a once in a life time experience. Mary sharing her little cabin with others is a little peace of paradise. If you stay there please respect her home and enjoy all the birds and solitude you wont regret it.

If you want to experience something unique then stay here. It’s an absolutely beautiful park with all you could ask for and more. The staff are really welcoming and nothing seems too much trouble for them. The setting this park is in is unthinkable upon the approach to it but once you arrive at the gates you suddenly realise the scenery and wildlife. The restaurant serves absolutely stunning evening meals and prices are good. The breakfast was included in our stay and it was once again absolutely amazing with such a choice.

Our stay was amazing! Marilou was so kind, welcoming, and thoughtful. She really cares, and that made all the difference. She suggested local experiences we ended up doing, and we’re so glad we did. We wish we stayed longer than one night! The Rooster Cabin is in a perfect peaceful spot, with birdsong and a serene lake view. Inside, it’s cozy and rustic with so many thoughtful touches in the amenities. You can tell care was put into every detail. This place is a gem, and we felt truly taken care of. The place has everything you need and is only steps away from the lake. Barbara and her husband were great hosts providing local and surrounding area recommendations. They even lent me a shovel to dig up wildflowers along the FSRs. Their two dogs are very friendly. I highly recommend this place.
