We were particularly enthusiastic about the great hot tub and sauna, which offered pure relaxation after a long day on the golf course. Hosts have thought of every detail and created a feel-good atmosphere. We'd love to come back and can absolutely recommend this house!”

We felt very comfortable. The communication was free and very accommodating. Check in via code box was simple and functional. Luxury with sauna and jacuzzi tub tubs.

Everything was fine and as described. The hostess was very nice and welcomed us personally and explained everything, and was always available afterwards. If you want to enjoy a few spa days, I highly recommend the apartment. Quiet location and you are undisturbed.

Great location right in nature and individual swimming spot 5 minutes away. Many opportunities for nature lovers and self-catering (well-equipped kitchen). A lot of fruit collected on walks and baked delicious cakes.

This unique apartment offers everything you need for recharging your batteries! It is beautifully designed and well equipped - there is so much attention to detail you feel as if the hosts used to live there. The whirlpool with sauna is a treat after a long day of hiking, biking or canoeing in the area. The surrounding property is just as beautiful and it’s peacefulness of the quiet nature around is rare. The hosts are welcoming and attentive, there are a lot of extras available, such as bike rental and a small shop with honey, wine and other treats. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Alte Ziegelei!

James rents several apartments on his property and we felt very comfortable in the larger apartment on the first floor. The apartment has a lot of personal character and is characterized by James' creative signature. The pictures give an accurate impression. The large dining table is simply first-class. We were there in cold temperatures and the abundant wood-burning stoves made the apartment cozy and constantly warm without much effort. No electrical support needed. A little more basic equipment in the kitchen would be great (olive oil, etc.), otherwise the kitchen is well equipped. James is a friendly and helpful host, we would love to come back to at any time.

I highly recommend this place and Henry. The location is awesome, and it was absolutely quiet. Everything was wonderfully prepared so I could get started right away. It was absolutely cozy and just to feel good. Small tip (for the train passengers): The tram stop Lange Straße was a little tick closer than Neuer Markt and you pull the wheelchair over less cobblestone. And the only downside - you would like to stay longer ;-)

My family and I were in mid-August 2024. I really liked everything. Everything corresponds to the description. The place is clean and has everything you need. Sarah was very friendly, described everything in detail. Trassenheide is a small quiet and cozy village. The beach is very clean and wide.

I can recommend the property 100%. We were warmly welcomed and were allowed to arrive well before 5 PM. There were drinks for us in the fridge and ice cream in the freezer to welcome us. The apartment was clean and likeable, equipped with masses of games for rainy days. From table tennis to campfires to bicycles for all ages, it had it all. Since the train to Rostock stops 100 meters from the house once an hour, even a car would not be absolutely necessary. We felt completely comfortable and will be happy to come back! We had a wonderful stay at this vacation rental! Simply fantastic and offers the perfect opportunity to relax. There are plenty of activities in the area that provide a lot of fun, and the place itself is ideal for families with children. The amenities are great, and everything is child-friendly. Flexible check-in, Henry & his wife were very nice and hospitable. Great with kids as they can play outside without worry. We were able to cook there and make ourselves comfortable. We were 2 children, 2 adults & a baby. We found it very cozy.

We chose to stay with Sten and his family because of the good reviews and extensive play opportunities for our children. After nine nights and a super relaxed vacation, we can also recommend this to all other families. Sten and his family were super nice and always helpful and interested in our well-being. There was nothing missing in the apartment. There are numerous excursions in the surrounding area. We were very pleased with our own eggs, honey and delicious mirabelle. We had a great stay. The house was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. I loved the retro feel to the place! Would definitely recommend and stay again next time I’m in Germany.

It's a perfect place to relax from the big city. Especially the combination of garden, sauna, fireplace and swimming pool are unbeatable.

The house had 3 nice bedrooms a super well equipped kitchen, it felt home very rapidly. The open space with three dining room and living was very spacious and comfortable and the garden is very nice. The pool was a very nice addition. Depending what your plans are, keep in mind the house is about 15 minutes walk from the S-Bahn. So going in Berlin downtown can take 49-50 minutes. We ended up spending more time in the area than expected and enjoying beautiful hiking and walking spaces.
