We had a fantastic stay. The house is very old, very nicely decorated and renovated just enough to be comfortable while maintaining charm and authenticity. We felt right at home. The environment of the house is very quiet and peaceful. Perfect for discovering this beautiful region as it is a short drive to the various nature reserves. Shops are also nearby (by car).

Really lovely place on the Swedish west coast. The cabin is placed on top of a hill, in a cabin area, giving you a nice little view of the valley. Quiet area with a few neighbours, but we only saw a few people. Close to the cabin there are plenty of forest paths, making great running and dog walking routes. There is also a beach, as well as a more cliff-like area where we went to swim, super nice !! You don’t have to leave the area if yo are having a chill holiday. The cabin itself is very new and freshly decorated. We were surprised with how well-equipped the kitchen was, which made for lovely cooking. One note, if you are four adults, is that the bedroom with the bunk beds does not have a window you can open, making it a bit stuffy. Would be probably best for two kids. We particularly enjoyed the garden and patio, and BBQ many nights as the sun set over the garden. The place also has a trampoline, which would be a nice surprise is you have kids. Would definitely visit again

Great house in a beautiful and very quiet location, centrally located for visiting attractions like petroglyphs of Tanum, Fjällbacka, Stangehuvud etc. Less than 10 minutes from Munkedal with supermarkets etc., but you have the feeling of being very secluded. Address should have been indicated a little more clearly, house number was missing, because the street runs a bit strange. Also, it was not completely clear how we could get the key, it was mentioned "reception". But upon arrival, a very friendly couple was waiting for us, gave the key and explanation of the house. We have never experienced such a clean house, compliments for this! Directly behind the house is a forest area, there is a pretty steep path going up both past the house and something for it on the right. For our older dogs, however, we couldn't walk around, this became too much. But back and forth, also by road along the fields, was fine to do. Sunroom and balcony are really great!

Incredibly charming cottage in a lovely, quiet and beautiful place. A little tufty and wildly close to the house but it is weighed up by the charm and unique location! Comfortable and spacious for the 2 of us adult and 3 kids and 2 dachshunds (who would have loved to explore the fields even more) Maybe good to highlight the hunting week celebration more in the listing? We had a nice stay at Daniel's place. The cabin had everything one might need. Peaceful and rural. Nice with a bathing water nearby. We also took the opportunity to go to Liseberg. And we found two other swimming spots not too far away. Highly recommend Daniel's place.

The house was exactly as described in the ad. The photos are recent. Andreas is a thoughtful host. The kitchen has the basics (e.g., sauces, coffee, salt, pepper, etc.), which was nice. It's very peaceful and quiet, which is exactly what we were after.

Very nice experience and beautiful view. I can really recommend it to anyone. Communication went smoothly and quick to respond to a message.

We spent some beautiful and frosty January days in Malin's nice and well-equipped house on Hamburgö. We enjoyed the wood-burning fireplace, the jacuzzi and the quiet surroundings. Malin was thoughtful, easily accessible and very generously shared the details of the house. It's likely very nice here even in the summer. It will be the highest rating from us both to Malin and her house. Thank you! We would be glad to come again.

Beautiful, modern, spacious and very well equipped house in beautiful and charming surroundings on Hamburgö. Clean and nicely furnished with space for a large family. Very peaceful and absolutely stunning surroundings , walking distance to the small ferry which in 2min takes you to the mainland. We loved it - and will definitely come back in the summer !

Another amazing holiday in Lottas house. The house is cozy and cozy with all the amenities you could wish for. Cozy stove. You are filled with peace and cozy here. The plot is lovely with a combination of mountains, forest, wooden deck, pool, berries and flowers, etc. Lotta offers great tips and suggestions and responds quickly when you have questions. We appreciate that the location is private, where there is a lovely tranquility. But great that it is close and easy to get to different places: 10 min into Strömstad and 4 min down to Rossö harbor and various swimming areas, chef holes and nice places. Many thanks to Lotta and little house on Älgö for this summer, see you again!

Incredible place! Recommend everyone. If I'm going to point out something, there were possibly a little slow responses for the stay, but when it got closer it went great and in the meantime. Full marks!

Really cute house, clean, well equipped and warm. Perfect for a chill week end. The host is reactive, nice and helpful. The instructions and information about the surrounding were very clear and complete. The hot tub with the view on the see was the highlight of our week end.

We spent Easter at Erika's place and it was absolutely amazing! The house really has everything you need and is more like a home than a holiday home, sparkling clean and so nicely decorated and thoughtfully designed. A big plus to warm up in the Sauna and Nordic bath after a day out in the rain ! Sotenäs area was incredibly beautiful there is so much to do, close to Smögen and Hunnebostrand . Ramsvikslandet for hikes . Highly recommend. Thank you so much Erika with the family !

Such a lovely apparentment with a lot of character. Wished we were staying longer. Perfect place to relax and unwind in amongst beautiful countryside. Watched wild deer grazing in the fields and listed to the noise of the crickets in the evenings. Even nicer than it looks in the pictures.

A wonderful cottage! Lovely to just be here, enjoy the tranquility, sauna, go up on the mountain and enjoy the view or go to the quiet little lake for a swim. Also close to nice bathing cliffs in the sea bay and many nice excursions. We have really enjoyed it here!

It was a practical and cozy stay with Rune. My dog and I were passing through and were able to relax there very well!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The home was clean and easy to live in during our time there. The home is maintained and the only update I might hope for in the future was easier access to the shower area. The location was perfect for our vacation time and planned activities.
