Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Municipality of Gorenja Vas-Poljane

Zoran's place is a great place to stay if you have a car and want to explore Slovenia. The flat was well equipped, and suited our needs. Within two hours driving through stunning countryside we were able to access white water rafting at Bovec and spent a day at Lakes Bohinj and Bled. We also had a day at Predjama castle and the Postojna caves and another at the Lipica Stud and the coast. Ljubliana airport is only an hour and a half away. Idrija itself was only 15 minutes away and has an interesting history of Mercury mining and Lace making and there are many walking trails from the door.

Last year we've been to Bled lake and did visit Bohinj lake. This time ee realized to go for a holiday to Bohinj, because the location seemed to be much more quiter. And what to say? It was great. Our house was perfect, everything was clean, my wife, children, me and our dog Daisy had a great time here. I have to recomend this house for everyone who would like to spend beautiful holiday near the spectacular Bohinj lake. Thank you so much. Martin 🙂🙂🙂

Brian’s place is as described. It’s very close to Bohinj lake and tourist info centre, yet quiet and private. Great views from the villa and very accessible to most must see places in Bohinj. We were there 5 nights and felt at home. It’s great value especially for a large family as there are 3 rooms upstairs, 2 with queen size beds and 1 room with 2 single beds. Highly recommend!

A great apartment in the most amazing location - highly recommend using the local station car railway to visit Bled!! The apartment was as described with a wonderful welcome pack with amazing homemade Lavender Lemonade. We’ll be back!!

We spent five wonderful days in this house nestled in the Slovenian countryside. A true haven of peace! Everything was perfectly clean, well-equipped, and above all… what tranquility! Gasper was a caring, discreet and above all very responsive host: as soon as we needed him, he responded quickly and efficiently. Special mention for access through the forest (GPS mandatory, but the change of scenery is guaranteed!). We would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a real break from the hustle and bustle. Amazing stay, very cozy home for a family trip, short drive to beautiful hikes, walking distance to a nice meadow nearby if you have a dog. Squeaky clean place, it felt like no one else stayed there before us. Kitchen has everything to cook literally anything. Comfortable beds, nice shower, small but cozy backyard. We cooked dinner outside all nights - grill has all amenities. Thank you!

The contact with Veronika is great. A few days before arrival, she sent restaurant tips and arrival information. You can communicate with her in German. She is not on site, but always available for questions and responds quickly. The house is sparkling clean and modernized. We felt very comfortable. Bathrooms, kitchen, beds, everything clean, fresh and great. You can sit and eat well in the garden. The old town is in walking distance. Ljubljana in 30 minutes, as well as Bled. We had our dog with us. Perhaps it is helpful to know that the garden is open to the street. It is quiet and not very busy, but a long leash for curious dogs makes sense. We would spend our vacation with Veronika again anytime.

We had a wonderful stay at Ali’s apartment! The space was very spacious and perfect for our family with kids. Everything was spotlessly clean and well-maintained. Ali was an excellent host—very responsive and extremely helpful throughout our stay. The location was ideal, just a 10-minute from Lake Bohinj, with several beautiful hikes and local walks starting right from the house. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

Beautiful experience. I was at Fabijan's house with my wife and my dog. We were greeted by his father who showed us the beautiful house and provided us with all the necessary information. We spent a week in this beautiful place from which you can easily reach Ljubljana, Postojna, Bled, etc. by car. Fabijan's dad and mom are extremely kind people, they suggested Places to visit and one evening we even went for a beer together in a small town not far from their home. Really recommended for those looking for tranquility and comfort when you return in the evening from daily excursions to visit the beautiful and numerous attractions that Slovenia is full of.

Barbara's place is in a beautiful location with amazing views. Her kitchen and dining place was really big and had all the possible amenities. If you rent a car you can easily visit the tourist spots. She was responsive and flexible with our check-in. The only thing I would mention is that entry to her property is via a flight of wooden stairs so it would be difficult if you have heavy luggage. We have already suggested her to add relevant pics so that people know about it.

Unfortunately, we were only there for one night. The apartment is beautiful and everything is available. Franzi and Darja are very nice and welcomed us superbly. Franzi even prepared the grill for us. Highly recommended!

Perfectly located, quiet accommodation with shops within walking distance. The accommodation is very well equipped with a terrace that is very nice. Communication went very well with Frank who is available and pleasant. Lake Bohinjsko Jezero is a 10-minute drive away. Many hikes on foot or by bike are possible.

It was great place with beatifull view. Supermarket is in the same building. Breakfast in the terrace was absolutely lovely. Very spacious and comfortable . Stronglu reccomend this place !

Lovely house in a beautiful location! Peace and opportunity for a variety of activities, ideal for two families and children of all ages. Communication with Manca was impeccable. We were welcomed by a friendly Daria, which gave our visit a warm touch and will stay in our memory for a long time. Thank you!

We stayed with our two kids who loved their upstairs bedrooms. The house is modern but warm and homely at the same time. It's a really well designed place and Igor clearly cares about the comfort of his guests. it was spotless and we loved spending time here during a spell of rainy weather and simply watching the mountains change with the weather. It was great to find all the basics like oil, spices, dishwashing tabs etc. in abundance. Igor was always super kind and responsive. We would love to come back!

Amazing views incredible place to stay so relaxing best

We were two families who met at the villa to spend some time together. For this the house is perfect and we enjoyed our stay. The outside area with the pool and the terrace is stunning. Especially the kids but also us adults loved the pool. The kitchen is very well equipped. Some of the things were not super clean but that is more on previous guests then on the host. The bedrooms are all very nice and beds are very comfortable. Also, there are ACs in all rooms. We had a great time and looking forward to coming back.

We had a fantastic family time in Kriz at the Villa. Katjusa was very welcoming and the wine tasting as well as the fantastic surroundings were truly memorable! A warm recommendation for everyone who wants to experience southern Slovenia at its best!

A great house for a group of friends but would be great for families too as there is a twin room off one of the double bedrooms. Walkable from beautiful Lake Bled and all it has to offer. A lovely house and recently renovated. Responsive hosts and made some good local recommendations.
