If you are looking for a peaceful place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city - this is it! We had a great time at Martina's and Egon's lovely home. I got excited about the terrace that overlooks the forest. The outdoor kitchen area, the hot tub under open sky and Martina's delicious food have been more than add-on's to our stay in Idrija. :)

We had a truly wonderful stay at this peaceful retreat in Slovenia. The location is absolutely breathtaking, nestled in the mountains, surrounded by nature, and incredibly quiet. The home itself was cozy, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

House is situated in quiet place, we have been happy there whole week. We like walking so we have enjoyed walks to the lake and swimming in clear refreshing water. Balcony is good for enjoying cafe breaks and also for drying beach towels and swiming suites. We have used car for trips to mountains, parking was easy right by the house.

The perfect getaway retreat. The place feels like a glimpse of paradise, garden of eden, heaven... Mountains engulf the secluded property, a lush forest surrounds it, and a small stream with prestin waters runs through it's garden. The only sound you'll hear is the song of birds and the flow of water. The house is spacious, immaculately clean and equipped with modern appliances and everything needed for a comfortable stay. Bonus is a hot tub in the garden. Highly recommended!

Beautiful location, walking distance to lake and walking path that will take you around the lake. Very quiet and peaceful area. Joze was so sweet and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. Perfect for our group of 3 couples.

Roman and Milena were very gracious and frendly hosts. They had special treats when we arrived and were very informative about the local hikes and restaurants. The location is just magical. So peaceful and beautiful! The cottage is well equipped and spotless! There are even slippers available for guest use! Very thoughtful. We hope to come back sometime for a longer stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maruša's apartment! The little details made it feel like a home away from home. Both Maruša and her mum were very friendly and helpful. The sauna was just what we needed after a day out in the cold. We looked forward to returning to the apartment every day to relax and recharge.

Romina was super helpful and always very responsive. The place is small but has everything you need and it’s close to many beautiful places you can reach in half an hour driving

We had a fantastic stay at Marjana's cabin! The house is spacious, clean, and well-suited for a group. The layout offers enough privacy, and the 2.5 bathrooms make the stay even more comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the views from the valley are stunning. It’s a lovely cabin in a peaceful spot, and Marjana was super kind and responsive throughout. Would definitely recommend it!

Fantastic location, to walk to museum, lace school, information centre, Bee house, restaurants, cafes, groceries. House itself is quaint, Maruska lovely to communicate with. We recommend her place to stay when visiting Idrija 😃

everything was perfect. We felt at home. My husband forgot his earphones and they let us return to pick them up a couple of mins after checkout.

We had a really nice time staying at the place. Jaka is a great host: super friendly and helpful. The apartment is ideally located if you plan a few excursions in the area and is equipped with everything you could possibly need. Even little things like laundry detergent, dishwasher tablets and the like were thought of, which was totally practical. The parking right outside the door was a big plus and the breakfast we booked one morning was just awesome. Really delicious and made with a lot of love. Unfortunately, the WiFi was very unreliable, so we often had to use our mobile Internet. But that didn't detract from our stay. Overall a clear recommendation – we would come back any time.

Beautiful house in beautiful, quiet surroundings with its own stream in the garden. The drive is a bit adventurous over a serpentine road, but easily accessible. We felt very comfortable.

Quite simply outstanding. A true home from home. Alenka and Mark are the most hospitable and generous hosts, with nothing too much trouble. With home grown food served on this working farm, it is a true pleasure. The apartment was impeccable and very tastefully decorated. Excellent quality-price, no question.

Toncevi is a lovely B&B (rooms & appartments) in a small mountain village. If you wish you can have breakfast and dinner in the courtyard of this old farmhouse. Alenka and her husband Marek are great hosts. Furthermore there is a small swimming pool. We stayed with our two children for 4 days in the Dora appartment and made day trips from Pedrovo. Looking forward to return to this quite paradise.

Responsive host, comfortable stay

Amazing couple of days stay in Most Na Soci. Property was sizeable and had all the utilities we needed. Host was amazing and was kind enough to give us a lift too and from the train station when we arrived and departed. Couldn’t recommend more!

What an amazing place Alenka has. Just beautiful! Alenka couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating for us, even cooking us (a big group) dinner at short notice and providing us with great Slovenian wine! Alenka also organised a taxi to the airport for us - really really great. Thank you for everything Alenka, we loved your place!

Great location for visiting Slovenia and Friuli Venezia Italian. Very quiet in the heart of the countryside. Ursula welcomed us very warmly and settled in her beautiful house with pool. Great stay that we recommend for a peaceful and pleasant holiday. Boraley family

We loved staying in Most na Soci and at this house. Hosts are very kind and accommodating. Kitchen was well supplied with dishes, pots & pans, and other kitchen needs so we could eat in some of the time. Beds were very comfortable and they had extra blankets if needed.
