We live in a sheep farm not far from Djúpivogur village with our border collie dog Prada and 2 cats. Possibility to host the 9 p. in a living room on a sofa bed if necessary.

Beautiful, warm and cozy cottage with beds for up to 4 people. It's located in the countryside 18 km from the town Egilsstaðir on road 931. It's on the south side of the lake on the way to Hallormsstaður the biggest forest in Iceland. The next grocery store is in Egilsstaðir. Good paved road, passable all the year. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful landscape, nice hiking trails down to the lake or up to the hills, good place to see the northern lights in wintertime.
