Vacation rentals in Mukumu

Evans place was a fit stopover for our long family road trip. It was easy to find and access. Evans communicated well from the beginning. The home was large enough for my family of 7 - with four children sharing the double decker and one the single bed. Very quiet and serene. It felt safe. It is a short drive from the main road. There is a lot of parking space and grounds for children to play and roam around. A certain boy offered to wash our car for a small fee - that was helpful. There are chairs and sitting space on the grass to sit or talk and a balcony attached to the bungalow. Swings for children. The lighting of the house is very good. The showers work and the water is hot. Evan's dad was 5 star! What can be improved? Have a Smart TV since there is WiFi:the DStv was not working. Avail or ask guest to carry mosquito repellants. Remove construction material in the house (door frames) and have slightly comfortable sitting room chairs (longer stays). Overall good. We can return.

I would go back anytime I visit Kisumu.

The host on site was excellent. It's a beautiful house. The only thing that wasn't great was the WiFi wasn't working while we were there. we enjoyed our brief stay.

A nice place to stay in easy to find and very close to the airport had a great stay

I had a fantastic stay at this lovely home. The room was clean,cozy and exactly as described in the listing. Caroline was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making check-in and check-out a breeze. The location was perfect—quiet, safe. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

I had an amazing time staying at Diana's place. The house was extremely clean and we'll kept,all the amenities I needed during my stay were available. Diana is an amazing host as well, very respectful and always there to help when needed. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend her place to anyone 😊

I was crashing for one night before I headed to the airport, but I wish I could have stayed a bit longer. What a great way to end my stay in Kisumu! The view has to be the greatest highlight. The place was also spotless and had everything I needed. Also, the house is very well located, about 20-25 minutes to the airport. If you don’t have a car, you will need to hire one or plan for a cab in advance (otherwise, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the main road if you need to use public transportation). Brian was very accommodating, letting me drop my bags off early and checking in regularly to ensure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend it! He’s an extremely warm and welcoming host.

We had a wonderful stay at Eric’s place. Would definitely visit again.
