Apartment vacation rentals in Muckross

We stayed at this property for two nights. It was so peaceful and beautiful. The apartment is very comfortable and clean. The surroundings are lovely and the sheep and lambs a joy to watch. The host family were great and left us lovely homemade scones and jam and also left eggs from their hens. The bed was comfortable and we had everything we needed in this spacious unit. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking to be close to Dingle peninsula or Ring of Kerry but wanting some peace and tranquility. We miss it already!!

Anne's property is in a great location with awesome views near many attractions on the ring of Kerry. I would recommend anyone to stay at this location.

Absolutely perfect! Myself and my family had a wonderful time in Sophie’s mountain retreat. Sophie is a hospitable and kind host, who was able to give great advice on how to spend our time in Allihies. She answered any query or request immediately. On arrival we were gifted fresh hen eggs, milk, and homegrown tomatoes from her garden. The house itself is cozy, clean, and welcoming. The facilities (oven, hob, stove, kettle, toaster, shower, tv, and more) were in perfect condition, and the hens and sheep make wonderful neighbours too🐓🐑 The surroundings were breathtaking, with the house nestled between the mountains where we found great peace and quiet. The location is a 10 minute walk to the lovely village of Allihies, accessible to all points of interest on the Beara Peninsula. Ballydonegan beach is also within walking distance. I would 100% recommend Sophie for a wonderful mountain retreat in Allihies!

I stayed at Brian's place for six weeks and was looking for peace and quite so I could read and reflect. I also like walking, particularly in wilderness areas. The location, being just outside Killarney was perfect. The flat was private and the Killarney National Park, which is extensive, was only a short drive away. I also used this accommodation as a base for visiting other places: Ring of Kerry, Dingle, Tralee and Cork, which were not that far away. The trains are great, and I used them to travel to Tralee and Cork. The flat itself was ideal with bedroom, kitchen-sitting room and bathroom, which had all the necessary things. Heating, internet and TV were excellent. Brian and his wife were very accommodating and responded quickly to any questions I had. At the same time, they respected my privacy. I had a wonderful stay there and highly recommend to others.

This is a great unit right on the edge of downtown Killarney. Easy to work into the city centre with all its restaurants, pubs, and shops. At the same time it has easy access to the roads to get out into County Kerry to visit all the sites. Highly recommend.

Amazing location right off N22, it was easy to get to Killarney national park, the ring of Kerry, and downtown Killarney. The Airbnb was so comfortable, fully stocked, and extremely clean. Very happy we stayed here!

Great place for a short stay, had all the amenities to be self sufficient for a few days. Place was clean and comfortable. Couple of pubs within a mile or so. Lovely view to the bay from verandah. Property is on a main road but quiet inside and big hedge surrounding property to block out traffic. Had a nice stay and would recommend.

Lovely little apartment, ideal location to explore Killarney.

Sneem is a wonderful little town, and John's place could not be in a more convenient location. John was very friendly and the unit is very clean and completely private. The price was a little high but it was the only thing left in town on our short notice.

We had an incredible stay at Angela’s beautiful home! From the moment we arrived, she made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Her home is stunning, with a breathtaking view of the mountains in Ireland. The kids absolutely adored her dog, Fluffy, and her pony, Symba — they spent hours playing and feeding them. Angela went above and beyond to make our stay extra special, offering thoughtful recommendations like a local bakery for a delicious cake, carrots to feed the pony, and even having cheese, crackers, and wine waiting for us when we arrived. My boys were thrilled with the field, where they spent so much time playing on the zip line and kicking around a soccer ball. Angela’s warmth and the special touches she provided made our stay unforgettable and truly made our family feel so warm and welcomed. The memories we made here will stay with us for a lifetime! Thank you, Angela, for your kindness and hospitality.

I have to highly recommend this beautiful place , stayed there for one night but it was to short , will definitely go back , one of the most beautiful places you could stay , beautiful scenery and surroundings, The hosts were excellent and made sure we enjoyed our stay , had beautiful free range eggs for us in the morning with milk, cannot recommend this place highly enough

Uns hat der Aufenthalt bei Jasmine sehr gut gefallen. Das Studio ist schön eingerichtet und alles was man braucht, ist vorhanden. Die Lage ist klasse, sehr ruhig im Wald gelegen mit einem kleinen Bach direkt vor der Tür. Gleichzeitig ist Kenmare nicht weit weg und man kann von hier aus den Ring of Kerry fahren. Auf jeden Fall der Wegbeschreibung von Jasmine folgen, damit man das Haus findet. Alles war sauber und Jasmine war zu jeder Zeit erreichbar und sehr freundlich. Wir konnten flexibel einchecken und hatten Privatsphäre. Wir würden jedem diese schöne Unterkunft empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

Really lovely location, quite remote and very peaceful. It was nice to get a piece of the countryside. Short drive to beautiful Castledonovan and river walk as recommended by Mary. The apartment itself was perfect in size and wonderfully stocked. You know when you are at an airbnb and need something and the place seems to have everything but? This place has everything you might need. Mary went above and beyond with homemade scones and bread, as well as butter, milk, eggs, jams, real coffee grounds, tea, hot chocolate powder, etc etc. Very comfortable and clean space. Highly recommend.

Phil greeted us when we arrived and showed us our place. He gave recommendations for food and live music in town. The views were spectacular, and there were chairs outside to sit and admire the property and views. Very quiet and private. We had a little issue with the dryer, and Phil was immediately responsive and helpful! Would return here if we are back in the area.

A perfectly situated appartment for doing Ring of Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula. Close to everything. A compact appartment but with everything you need and ensuites in both doubles. A little sketchy when you arrive to the appartment but dont let that decieve you. Once you are in it is nice and the neighbours are very friendly.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the apartment. Hosts were very helpful on arrival with recommendations and making sure we were settled. The views and having the walkway just down from the apartment was beautiful. Would definitely be worth a second visit

Pam is a lovely host. Had fresh scones waiting for us! She is easy to talk to and her space is dated, but lovely.

A great place to stay we were fishing most of the time but very central even for that fantastic village and Eamon's few pints were great if your going to Tralee this is a spot to stay in thank you Mike & Tracey 😉

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour chez Evelyn. Il faisait un peu froid à notre arrivée , mais une fois le chauffage mis tout était parfait! Nous ne savions pas comment fonctionnait la laveuse, elle a répondu à nos questions. Très sympathique.

We loved our stay in Ballyheigue. apartment was perfect for us as a family of 4. Comfy beds, good powerful shower. The kitchen has everything we needed. I loved having my morning coffee on the deck overlooking the bay. The location is fab literally 5 mins from the beach. Caitriona is a lovely host really friendly and is on hand if you need her. would highly recommend if your looking to stay in Ballyheigue.

Super schöne Unterkunft, absolut zu empfehlen. Richtig schön eingerichtet mit hochwertigen Möbeln und alles super sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Man merkt es wurden auf Kleinigkeiten geachtet. Gastgeberin Anne ist super nett und freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the area!
