Everything was great!

The house is spacious and has a really nice layout. Rooms are big, and the bathroom is very comfortable. Perfect for our family of 4 and 2 friends. Some small downsides are the view from the garden, you overlook the valley with some industry and the highway is quite nearby, you can hear it from the garden. But we guess the garden would feel very different in spring and summer when the trees have all their leaves. We had some difficulties with the floor heating, but I'm am sure this will get fixed, since Yewgenija is a super host who went out of her way to answer our questions asap and is very open to suggestions on how to improve the house and the experience of her guests. The area is very nice for daytrips and walks and the Ahr and its small villages are certainly worth the trip, although I would rather recommend a visit outside of winter. Since the big flood of 2021 a lot has been done to rebuild the area and the Ahr-valley residents are very warm and welcoming to tourists!

We enjoyed it very much, the hosts are very nice and straightforward. The amenities were great, especially in the kitchen. We had plenty of room to cook and eat together... not so easy for 11. It would be nice if there might be a table tennis table or a trampoline in the garden. You can make beautiful hikes in the area. Unfortunately, we only had one weekend. We can definitely recommend this house.

Check-in and checkout were straightforward, a lot of energy was put into the decor of the accommodation, and you can tell. 👍

We wanted to spend a relaxing weekend getaway with close friends and Manfred‘s house was the most ideal place to be. The house is perfectly located - away from the hustle bustle of the city and close to nature. The views from the house are splendid and the proximity to the lake is cherry on the top! Manfred is a great host, was available to communicate when we needed him. The house was clean and cozy and we felt absolutely at home here. We have great memories here and will definitely recommend and love to visit again! Thank you :)

We had a lovely stay at the witch's house. The house is well equipped, you will find everything you need. For us, the low ceiling height was also no problem, as we are both not tall😊

We stayed at Pia's chalet for a relaxing weekend and had a really great time. The house looks exactly the same as on the pictures, so it offers countless places to relax. The sauna & hot tub overlooking nature are also fantastic. We will definitely be back!

We spent New Year's Eve in the Stranzenburg in a small group. Really a beautiful unique house with charm! Ursula was a great host who even greeted us with a cake. If you have any questions, we were always able to reach out and received a quick response. We were all very comfortable.

The apartment is super lovingly furnished, you feel right at home and have everything you need. I felt comfortable from second 1. ❤️ Also super recommended for dog owners, you are very rural and can go for a great walk. At the same time, you can still get to Cologne very quickly by car. Perfect location for activities. :)

We had a truly wonderful stay! Anja was incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive. She made sure we had everything we needed and made suer we feel at home. The place was spotless, cozy, and perfect for a relaxing vacation with our baby. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended, and we would love to come back one day!

Beautiful comfortable home with all amenities. Located in a quiet place on the edge of the village between homes and some companies in a rural area with nice hiking opportunities.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house! The house was absolutely clean and well maintained. The kitchen was superbly equipped so we could easily prepare our meals. Also the bathroom was modern and comfortable, and the hot tub was a real luxury that made the stay even more enjoyable. The TV was also of good quality and provided a great way to relax. The only small downside was that there were no shutters. Otherwise it was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely recommend a stay!

We spent some nice and quiet days with our dog Rudi during the turn of the year. The accommodation is very nicely located in the countryside, a small farm with cows is located nearby. There are beautiful opportunities for walking and hiking. Exactly the tranquility and seclusion we were looking for! Stefanie and her husband were also very friendly! Thank you for everything! Fantastic host, place was very clean and easy to find. Easy to get into town and Henriette was a great host.

I stayed with my 3 year old daughter for a few days in the green oasis of Roland and Marion. The communication with Roland and the team was excellent. The apartment is just right for two people. But the most beautiful thing is of course outside, whether in the garden or the beautiful adjacent nature. The tranquility and the birdsong are simply wonderful for relaxation. ❤️ We enjoyed the time very much and the daily visit with the rabbits, guinea pigs and alpacas was of course a highlight. We will be happy to come back in the summer:)

We had a nice week at Marie-Luise's cottage. The "painting heating" made it wonderfully warm. - From this cottage you can be in Cologne in half an hour by train. - Furthermore, you can also quickly be in nature from the cottage for a nice walk. - We'll probably come back here sometime. We felt very comfortable in the tiny house. The host was helpful if we had any questions and suggested good hiking routes. The tiny house is in a very quiet area and on the edge of nature. Due to the cuddly soft bedding, you had a very good night's sleep to start a long hikes the next day! If we were to return to the Rothaar Mountains, we would definitely choose the tiny house again 🙂

If you are looking for peace and contemplation, this is the place to be. The romantic cottage has old-fashioned features such as shutters and a fireplace, but also has the fastest Internet and a bathtub. The best of both worlds and it is a pleasure to watch Eva with her animals! I'm sure I'll go there again.

We booked over the Easter holidays. The accommodation is located in a quiet residential area. The place was very clean, everything was intact. The hosts very friendly. We felt very comfortable there. From there, we were quickly in the center by car. It took us just under half an hour by car to get to Phantasialand. We had a nice time and would book the place again at any time. In the village itself there are shops. We were in the neighboring village. Eat a great Italian.
