We had a fantastic time here. This is a beautifully restored and carefully furnished traditional Cretan home that is every bit as good as the photos. It is beautifully quiet and restful, and a short walk to the local tavernas in the evening where you join the locals for wonderful local food. This is a real "get away from it all place" that makes unwinding easy, yet is an easy drive to and from the airport and Chania. We've been to this part of Crete before, but had some great recommendations from Vicky our host to enable us to discover things we had not seen before. We'd definitely come back here again.

My family and I had an amazing stay at this beautiful house. The location is truly special, offering peaceful surroundings with breathtaking views. It was the perfect balance—quiet and serene, yet close enough to beaches, historical sites, Chania, and wonderful hikes in nature. The house was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the balconies, where we could relax and enjoy the stunning views. What really made our stay exceptional was the incredible hospitality. Maria welcomed us with a freshly baked cake upon arrival and treated us to homemade Kalitsounia throughout our stay. She also provided us with great recommendations and helpful tips. Our girls were charmed, and so were we. We highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a peaceful and beautiful spot in Crete. We would love to return someday!

Little slice of heaven in Crete. I chose this place to relax and unwind. The pool is superb, the staff are very helpful and attentive. I even got some nice drone shots! The hotel food is good, and served until 10 p.m. by the pool. Grocery store 15 minutes' walk. The bedding is not the most comfortable, the mattress is a little hard but you sleep well. You also have to be patient to have hot water in the shower, but we have time on vacation 🌞 To enjoy Crete outside the hotel you have to rent a car, the hotel is very remote. The address is not correct, you have to type in Google maps "Areti Hotel". At the airport, a 2-hour bus ride with several connections is offered, not very reliable. The airport-hotel taxi costs €40, in 30 minutes.

We had an amazing vacation. The hosts are wonderful, very friendly and generous. We received fresh eggs from the house, they made sure we had drinks in the fridge and gave us lots of recommendations. The villa is even more beautiful than the pictures, everything was spotless, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped. The pool is really big and clean and the view is amazing! We would definitely like to come back here again.

Had a very nice 2 weeks in the apartment! Beautiful view and a very nice swimming pool and hot tub! Upon arrival, some bottles of water and things for breakfast are provided. The landlords are very friendly people and we would definitely recommend this apartment!

We had a very nice time at this place!! A fantastic, breathtaking view of the sea. And the sunrises should be followed every morning. The accommodation is furnished with everything necessary and very clean. We had everything we needed! Each room has its own balcony. You only hear the highway (but only in the terrace). The beach is less than 5 minutes by car. And the nearest restaurant can be reached in 2 minutes by car. When checking in and out, the hosts were extremely flexible! Thanks for that!! And the communication was very good! We received an exact description of the journey and always tips if we were looking for a nice beach or place to eat! Thank you for the lovely stay in your house!!
