A Hidden Gem in Playa Majagual – Even Better Than the Pictures! We had an amazing stay at this beach house in Playa Majagual! The location is absolutely perfect—just a short walk (less than 100 meters) to one of the most beautiful and peaceful beaches in Nicaragua. The pictures truly don’t do it justice; the beach is stunning, with soft sand, crystal-clear water, and a completely private, serene atmosphere. The house itself is well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The terrace is a great place to relax and take in the tropical surroundings, and the overall layout makes it easy to unwind. The home is spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, providing a perfect balance between comfort and nature. Getting there was surprisingly easy—we drove in a sedan and had no issues at all. The house is in a great spot, not only for enjoying Playa Majagual but also for exploring nearby beaches and San Juan del Sur, which is just a short drive away.

I must start by saying the service by Erik the property manager was outstanding. He was very responsive and arranged taxis to and from the villa, as well as moto rentals (which you will absolutely need to explore the island). Layout of the villa was quirky, kitchen and potable water are on the 2nd level while all bedrooms as well as the only indoor bathroom are on the 1st level. The villa is set back from the road and delivers fantastic views, as does the restaurant directly up the hill. That restaurant is part of a hotel, but it’s without a doubt the closest food option. If you’re looking for walkability, this isn’t the place for you. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with plenty of space, I recommend this stay.

Very clean spacious accomodation. Bigger than I expected and yhe bed was so comfortable too. I must say I had a very relaxing stay here and I would highly recommend staying here.

The only thing was the limited availability to check in earlier. Usually Airbnbs are check-in 2pm and check-out 12pm with this one it was an hour later and an hour earlier and no matter how hard we tried he didn't want to give us flexibility otherwise everything was perfect

Had the most enjoyable stay. Capt. Greg was extremely accommodating and flexible. The onsite restaurant was great and the staff was extremely friendly . Would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay if visiting Ometepe. Two rooms with cold AC but they are kinda loud, clean house, and great pool environment that is very private. No complaints.

The bungalow is beautiful. Beautiful construction made of quality local materials. 5 minutes to playa Madeiras. If you feel like surfing, this is the place. Lots of atmosphere. The place is definitely worth it. Really comfortable with a huge king bed. Only downside, the location is really hard to find. It should be much clearer where the bungalows are and also communicate, in advance, the contact details on site.
