Cabin vacation rentals in Mount Pleasant

Excellent stay at this Airbnb. If you are thinking of coming to St Helen to ride the ORV trails, this is an excellent choice! It’s right down the street from St Helen Motorsports, two gas stations, 3 restaurants, 2 pizza shops and multiple trail head entrances within 2 miles or less!!! The house looks exactly like the pictures and description, and the hot tub, outdoor fire pit, and indoor fireplace were amazing! I will note….it is a bit on the small side. Beds are as described, but feet hang off the bed and rooms are small. 4 grown adults was pushing it here, especially with one bathroom. Also note. There is BARELY enough room for a small truck and trailer to park in front. The other truck had to park underneath the large garage due to no park space. Other than that, which is really just an explanation, it is the ultimate st Helen stop!

We really enjoyed staying here for a five year anniversary getaway and relaxation. Our pup got her zoomies out and even explored by the River! We would definitely book again! Both Frank and Kaylee were responsive if we had any questions and great hosts!

My wife’s family wanted to go to the casino in Standish. We didn’t, but it was an excuse to get away. This is 30 minutes away. As soon as we walked in the door, we fell in love with the place. The smell of fresh pine is everywhere, and it’s real. As I walked through the place, I thought of asking about the process they went through to make this beautiful cabin. There’s actually a picture book on the mantle that shows how they started with an empty shell. Very cool. If you look only at square footage, this is a small cabin. But, they use the space very efficiently. I never thought for one moment that the place was small or cramped. And, this is way better than a cabin at a campground. But, the real highlight is the host. It soon started feeling like we were family. Not family that makes you go to a stupid casino, but someone that’s there for you, always responding within minutes, even at 12:30 in the morning. I wish my family were more like that. Highly recommended!

A great house!

We had a wonderful getaway at Maggie’s place. We loved everything from the decor to the stocked kitchen and the gorgeous yard. You can tell that Maggie pays close attention to details- anticipating everything that guests may need. The hot tub on the screened-in porch was absolutely perfect. Everyone in our group slept great in the comfy beds. Plenty of linens, sound machines, ceiling fans, and heat and AC. We lucked out with perfect weather so we were able to sleep with the windows open and wake up to the sound of birds which added to a perfect relaxing weekend with old friends. We were even able to enjoy some yoga in the well-kept backyard. We are already talking about when we all get away again so we can come back!

This was an amazing home to stay at with great amenities and lots of room for big families! Great host, very responsive and answered any questions I had during my stay.

A wonderful place!! Beautiful and peaceful! We had 8 people and it fit everyone comfortably! Plenty of space for kiddos to run around and play. Perfect for a weekend getaway, highly recommend!

Franks place was exactly what I was looking for. Close to family nearby, space for my kids to run, and a house that felt like home. Couldnt recommend it enough! We did not end up using many amenities he had to offer, but they were readily available to us if we wanted. Will look foward to staying again in the future.

This is the second time I've stayed. For personal reasons, I had to leave early, but the hosts were very gracious and kind. The house is great and comfortable as always. The host is always easy to reach and great to speak with. I hope to make more trips here in the future for some rest away from home!

We enjoyed our stay it was a cozy place! Would def recommend for couples or adults/people with older kids. It was a little hard with little kids (6-2yr olds) just because I didn’t want them to mess anything up but it did fine:)

Shana’s place is very cute, clean, and cozy. I loved how it was decorated and the fenced in backyard with the fire pit is really nice. Neighborhood is very quiet and the neighbors are friendly.

We reserved this Airbnb so we could attend a Celebration of Life for my dear cousin, who had lived in Houghton Lake for over 35 years. He sadly passed away in February of this year. My husband and I have rented through Airbnb for 10 years, but always further north. We were very pleased with the rental and will definitely rent from them again. Love what they are doing to the back yard and can’t wait to come back up and use the fire pit. The home was very clean, spacious and nicely decorated and furnished. We would recommend this renting this home.

Visited St Helen, MI to ride trails with ATV. Trails are great, never ending, lots of friendly other riders, plenty to eat. Woodys Hot Dog stand is amazing!

The cabin was perfect for our stay. Very clean and comfortable. The lake is beautiful. The small fenced back yard was ideal.

The Gabriel Cabin was such a pleasant stay for us. we brought our dog Elvis for one of his first camping/outdoor experiences. we enjoyed walking the Her-See trail in particular but we did also walk the Heron Path as well. we found the mosquitos in full swing so we did enjoy more solitude indoors. The cabin itself was tidy and had cute added touches for decor that created an experience of its own such as the lighting and fun remote control lamps. I especially liked coloring a mushroom page and we also found a rock to add to the stove collection. we cooked all meals at the cabin and found amenities to be plenty. We walked the larger Labyrinth and was able to see other cabins around the property as we passed them. the creek is absolutely beautiful!! The outhouse was clean and adorable. we have been all over Michigan but never in that particular area so while the property itself was nice we did have to drive a ways to get to other hiking trails. we would return for certain.

Great little area ice and quiet house was in good shape smelled good all around nice spot to have a little getaway at the hosts were very personable and nice highly recommend

We had a great stay! It was peak fall foliage and 70 degrees. The cottage was perfect, nestled right on 3 private acres which made it the perfect child free weekend getaway. We enjoyed the sauna, the fire pit and the sounds of nature. Robin was very responsive and helpful! If you're looking for rest and relaxation I would recommend The Acorn!

Cabin was very nice. No Wi-Fi as noted in the listing but service was good enough to stay connected.

This place is a gem! It has everything you could possibly need for a little getaway! We had a party of 9 aged from 2 - 55 and there was plenty to do for all! No matter where you are on the property or in the house you are never far away. From the kayaks to the kitchen, everything was made for a good time!

This was our second stay at Cathy's Cabin. As always the cabin was clean and welcoming, just put the cooler contents in the fridge and begin enjoying the stay. I enjoy this lake. It reminds me very much of my grandparents lake cottage. Late May is still cool weather in Michigan and Cathy's brother made a special effort to get the pontoon boat ready for us. We enjoyed being out on the water and trying our hands at fishing. I caught a northern pike at the north end of the lake, Khi caught some small walleye right off the dock. For guests in the warmer weather there is every kind of summertime toys imaginable in the shed, kayaks etc... We would definitely look forward to returning to Cathy's Cabin again.

I had an amazing time! So thankful for a few peaceful and cozy days.

Super cute cabin! Went for a girls weekend in, the kitchen and living room spaces were exactly what we were looking for. Passcode door was easy to use. Short walk to crystal lake beach.

This is my second time staying here and everything was excellent as the first time. Rebecca and Steven were very helpful and friendly. Their cabin and property is fantastic, I love staying here.

Was there with my family and had a great time. Plenty of room. Really clean and nicely decorated. Great parking for a boat. Nice clean yard with a fire pit. And I had check in instructions, key code and the owner direct information the day before my visit I will be a return visitor
