Convenient access to Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama-Kurobe.It can also accommodate group trips, family trips, and long-term stays.There is a laundry machine and a bathroom with a dryer function, so you can have a comfortable stay even for extended periods. You can also come by public transport, but the area is more convenient to have a car. Free pick-up and drop-off are available at Shinano-Matsukawa Station and Akashina Station.Other pick-up and drop-off services and sightseeing pick-up and drop-off services are available for 2,000 yen to 8,000 yen (round-trip fare) depending on the distance, within 2 hours each way.For groups of 5 or more, we can arrange a rental car, so please consult with us in advance. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. It is 60 minutes by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Karuizawa, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so you can work in the morning and take a half-day off in the afternoon, for example. Capsule House-K, a monumental capsule house in nature designed by Kisho Kurokawa

CAPUSULE HOUSE-K is a private house designed by Kisho Kurokawa. It was created based on the concepts of Metabolism and Homo Mobius. This building is composed of the same capsules as the Chugin Capsule Tower Building, which is also a metabolism building, and was completed in 1973, the year after the building was completed. Until now, it has been open only to a few people and was a little-known building, but in 2019, the restoration was started by Kisho Kurokawa's son, and now it is open to the public with the interior of that time.
