We had a great stay in the spacious apartment. Very quiet. It felt like the only neighbors were funny cows. Perfect area for excursions to Mizen and Sheep's Head or to the Beara Peninsula. And of course, much more.

The place was ideal for our trip away, it was a short drive to Skibbereen and a good base for the surrounding areas. Thoughtful touches, like milk, bread and butter was a nice and unexpected gesture.

Holiday home in West Cork

ZacRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Stayed at Aine and Michaels place for 4 nights while myself and some friends explored Kerry/Cork. The house was in a great location for us, fairly even between the Kenmare (to get on the Ring of Kerry), Mizen Head and Cork city which were our big 3. Could not fault the location or the hosts on any way, very welcoming and approachable but respected our own privacy. The house was clean and warm with good amenities. We even got shown around the farm. Overall a really enjoyable stay that complimented our trip, and if I were heading back Cork direction for another trip I absolutely would stay again.

We had an amazing 2-night stay at Miriam’s place. The house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable, right in the center and close to restaurants. Everything was perfect, thank you again for everything!

Barn in Castletownshend Private Ocean View Walks

We loved our stay at The Barn! It was clean, modern, and full of charm—such a cozy and inviting space. The location was easy to find and just minutes from stunning ocean views. Stephanie was an amazing host—very responsive and gave us some great local recommendations. One of the highlights was getting to meet the farm animals, and we were greeted by three super friendly farm dogs that made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this unique and peaceful getaway!

The Bitter End at Kilcoe Cottage

LeaRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
The small cottage was lovingly and practically furnished. Everything has been thought of. It was clean and the beds very comfortable. We were greeted by a lovely dog and two cats. Sharon provided a small breakfast and even put fresh flowers. We felt very comfortable and will remember the 2 days fondly.

Millie's Cottage

Brilliant place to stay. Could not recommend this place more. Such a nice peaceful part of cork that’s not too far from a big town and the many attractions around west cork. Lisa couldn’t do more to help. We arrive and the fire was lit, milk and all in the fridge for us. We had such a lovely welcome and such a pleasant stay. Any issue, one text and it was sorted no bother. 10/10 definitely would stay again.
