We are in a rural area, recreation trail head is 3 miles east of us as is the Wade House, 7 miles from Road America. Large yard, Fire pit, picnic table, child swing set. Garage parking on site if arranged in advance. We do not have WIFI Phone reception for Internet is good. No Cable or Satellite TV, Over 32 antenna channels. Smoking is allowed outside of the home. The River House was perfect for our 4-person family vacation to visit the Maritime Museum. The home is exactly what you see in the photos (plus there’s a TV.) There truly isn’t an area of the home that feels ‘out of place’ from the 60s. There are plenty of hangers/closet space/drawers/bathroom storage to settle in and feel at home. I really enjoyed spending time on the back patio watching the birds with my binoculars (and there is a monocular in the living room!) I highly recommend staying here, it was a wonderful experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed Amy’s place!! We, as a group go to Road America every year for motorcycle races. The house that we usually rent was taken this year, and we found this gem!! First off, the house is gorgeous, Amy has made a truly relaxing space. The landscaping is beautiful, and it is just as enjoyable and calming to be outside as it is in. The beds were comfortable as was the furniture throughout the house. Honestly, the pictures don’t really do it justice. Oh and Amy has a surprise for you. I won’t ruin it, but she takes great pride in the community and her home and it shows. Although this was not our regular place to stay we all agreed that this is where we want to come back to.
