Earth house vacation rentals in Morocco

Logement correspondant à la description l’endroit est paisible et la vue est magnifique. Cependant nous sommes venu au début du mois de juin et nous avons eu un peu chaud Fatima nous a gentiment proposé un ventilateur mais c’était quand même difficile de faire diminuer la température dans le dôme. Si vous êtes 2 prenez les dômes les plus grands le petit est un peu étroit pour2. Expérience néanmoins insolite je recommande.

Nous avons adoré, c’était propre, c’était paisible, on était dans notre coin, la décoration est magnifique, lit confortable tout était propre, on a la vue sur les cascades. Didier et Hamid sont là pour nous. En partant Hamid a couru à temps juste avant qu’on démarre… j’avais oublié ma montre 🥹😍 J’ai adoré le geste … Je recommande pleinement et le peuple autour a été magnifique avec nous

We had a wonderful stay at Dar Faracha. The local host Mohamed took great care of us and his mother Aicha cooked very delicious dinners for us. Absolutely beautiful surroundings in the peaceful oasis with views of the desert and mountains. Beatriz was quick to communicate and Mohamed helped us out with everything we needed to know around the area! I would go back any time! Thanks for the hospitality.

This was my second time staying here, and it was nice to revisit. As before, it was clean, comfortable, and had a relaxed, homey atmosphere. The real highlight was the food—Aisha is a great cook. If you do stay here, I’d recommend opting in for dinner. It’s a simple place, but there’s heart in it.

Beautiful Kasbah hotel located in an authentic Moroccan village near the mountains. Perfect stopover on the way to the desert. The host took excellent care of our group even though we arrived in the middle of the night. He showed us around the Kasbah, prepared tea on the terrace. The next day he showed us around the village and gardens telling us interesting things about the life of the local community. It was an unforgettable time. We will definitely come back.

Un véritable havre de paix ! Je recommande à 100 % ce logement. Bien qu’un peu éloigné de Marrakech, c’était un véritable coin de paradis, parfait pour se reposer et profiter du calme. L’hébergement était très agréable et fidèle à la description. L’hôte a été d’une grande disponibilité et très réactif tout au long du séjour. Atika, la personne en charge des repas a été au petit soins et ses repas sont très bons et copieux. Idéal pour une expérience en famille ou entres amis. Une belle expérience que je n’hésiterai pas à renouveler !

Siempre ha disposicion a nuestras dudas. Si aprendes a manejarte con los buses locales es una experiencia increible el trayecto. Los trabajadores eran un encanto y nos han facilitado muchas cosas, y ya la comida de las cocineras..... brutal La piscina increible ya que la rellenan con agua de manantial, el sitio expectacular y super tranquilo. Ojala habernos quedado mas tiempo ahi por que era como un paraiso, esperemos volver pronto! Gracias por todo

On se sent comme à la maison à Irocha, l’endroit est magnifique et chaque objet est choisi avec goût. Ahmed est un amoureux de sa région. Nous avons eu la chance de partager une journée avec lui pour découvrir l’oasis de Fint et Ouarzazate sous un autre œil. Merci pour tout !

The camp is beautiful and quite remote so you really can disconnect and feel like you’re in the wild. Brahim is a gracious host, his drum skills are incredible and the night by the fire in intimate surroundings with only 4 other guests felt like you truly saw a moment of life in the desert. The bed was very comfortable and the covers super warm even in the freezing desert night.

I liked the place so much, I booked it for an extra extended period. Everything was so peaceful and wonderful. Life is very slow in a very good way in the tiny village of Berwawa. Even though I stayed in the winter, I was plenty warm inside my bedroom with the heater on low. We had some nice rains while I was there and some very clear and sunny days. The rolling green hills looked just like a postcard. So picturesque with olive trees dotting the landscape. The locals continued to be super welcoming and I had no problems whatsoever. Note: The locals here don’t speak much of any English, but we had fun having deep conversations with the Google Translate app for instant spoken word translation. Power remained consistent as well as Maroc Telecom 4G connectivity. Note: Other carriers may have issues, but you’ll probably want Maroc Telecom anyhow since you’ll have the greatest coverage, country-wide. I came to Berwawa to get away from distractions and focus on working and writing music. It was so perfect there that I developed some great playing techniques far beyond my expectations! Mohammed was super accommodating and came to pick me up at short notice when my plans changed and I moved on to Fes. Now, sitting in my sweeping-panorama-view apartment inside the old Fes medina, I find myself missing the tranquility of Berwawa. I wish I could have stayed longer. Never once did I feel unsafe, and I had everything I needed from the local farming villagers or from the little store in-town. Even though I don’t have any specialized “farm lore” skills, I never felt inconvenienced by the simplicity of the accommodations and had no troubles with my daily routine whatsoever. I felt relieved to dial things back and simplify my life for a moment while I unwound in the serenity of it all. I just discovered that there’s taxi service which makes a round trip between Fes and Berwawa each day. The cost is 60MAD (about $6.50USD) per-seat, each way. A bargain since it take 2-3 hours each way. This alone makes Berwawa easily accessible for tourists wanting to get away from it all to enjoy the fresh air, clean water, and the wonderful produce from the bountiful Rif Mountain region. Here, there is no fear of getting ripped off by greedy touts looking to fleece you as you'll find in the tourist traps. This never occurred here. Berwawan's are an honest and honorable people in my opinion. Mohammed’s place has been an amazing experience. Truly the highlight of my entire Moroccan tour. Renting the entire ½ acre citrus, olive and vegetable farm with the large adobe farmhouse proved to be not only a great deal for the money, but an untapped area where there are zero tourists, and local hospitality abounds. I’ll never forget the friendships I made there since you’ll be treated as family with a genuineness of heart that is such a rarity in the world today. Thank you again, Mohammed. You and your family will always hold a dear place in my heart and I hope to come again to Berwawa sooner than later!

Nous avons passés un excellent séjour, en famille dans la maison de Jean-Gabriel. Très belle maison contemporaine dans un cadre très calme et naturel. Notre séjour était d'autant plus exceptionnel grâce à la présence d'Isham et Soumya. Nous nous sommes régalés matin, midi et soir avec la cuisine marocaine de Soumya. Isham quant à lui a toujours été à notre écoute pour organiser notre quotidien et nos différentes sorties. Il nous a également organisé une soirée d'anniversaire, dont nous garderons un super souvenir. Isham et Soumya vivent dans une partie indépendante de la maison, mais ce n'est absolument pas dérangeant car ils sont discrets. La maison est située en campagne à environs 40 min de Marrakech. La dernière partie de route pour y accéder est plutôt une piste mais nous trouvons que cela participe au charme de cette maison. Nous recommandons fortement cette maison.

Lovely getaway destination, we had a beautiful hike through a local Berber village and much time by the pool too.

.Mohammed y su mujer hicieron que nuestra estancia en el Riad y en Fes fuera perfecta desde la llegada hasta que nos fuimos,siempre disponibles para todo lo que necesitáramos con una gran amabilidad y muy acogedores ayudándonos en todo.Un l Riad muy bonito, está muy bien ubicado en el centro de la Medina perfecto para conocerla ..Encantadas de habernos hospedado estos días allí y a ver conocido a Mohammed y su mujer,encantadores.

Wir hatten wundervolle Tage bei Jo. Das Haus ist wunderschön, genauso wie die Zimmer. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die beiden Hunde sind super entspannt und immer für Streicheleinheiten zu haben. Jo hat uns einige Unternehmungen vermittelt wie bspw. einen Tagine Kochkurs. Dieser hat super viel Spaß gemacht. Das Zimmer wird jeden Tag gereinigt und man merkt, dass hier viel Liebe im Detail steckt. Wir würden Jo jederzeit wieder besuchen und waren mit Sicherheit nicht das letzte Mal vor Ort! 😊

Dikke vette aanrader dit! Na een spannende rit de bergen in was het voor ons, 3 zussen, geweldig om aan te komen op deze bijzondere en gastvrije plek bij Saida, haar vader, moeder en broers. En een idee te krijgen van het eenvoudige maar vrije ‘Berber life’ in de prachtige bergen, met de ezels, de koe, schapen, kippen en de moestuin. We hebben echt genoten, van de thee, de tajine en het ontbijt maar vooral van de mensen. Dankjewel 🙏

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Oussama et son père Abdelah. Ce dernier est extrêmement accueillant et toujours disponible pour nous, à tout moment. Il nous a offert de nombreux produits gratuitement et partagé avec générosité une foule d'informations intéressantes sur la région. La région, justement, est magnifique : très calme, paisible et silencieuse, ce qui en fait un endroit idéal pour un voyage placé sous le signe de la détente. La maison, quant à elle, est très confortable, décorée dans un style rural qui correspond parfaitement à l’expérience que nous recherchions. Je recommande vivement ce lieu à toute personne qui aime la campagne et souhaite se ressourcer. J’ai offert cette expérience à mes parents, et nous en gardons tous un excellent souvenir. C’est une expérience à renouveler sans hésitation !

A wonderful couple of days including a great trip to Erg Chiggaga. The whole site is beautifully presented and the room is clean and spacious. It is remarkable what has been achieved in desert surroundings. Both Agata and Moha are extremely kind and friendly without being intrusive. Food was good but we would have preferred individually served breakfast or at least separate jams and honey. Otherwise a brilliant stay.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour à Ouled Brahim chez Isabelle. Nour recherchions de l'authenticité et nous l'avons trouvée au sein du riad amoureusement rénové à l'ancienne. Chacun y a son espace privatif autour du la piscine que mes enfants ont adoré. Le chant des oiseaux, les tortues dans le jardins orné de bougainvilliers, le ciel bleu et le soleil bien sur, ont fait de ce séjour un réel moment privilégié de repos. L'authenticité aussi, dans le village qui n'est pas une zone touristique mais où vous trouverez les sourires des enfants et des habitants qui vous accueillent dans leur vie. Mon fils a fait une super partie de foot sous le maillot marocain malgré la barrière du langage. Le lieu vous permettra de rayonner vers Agagdir, Taghazout, Tarroudant, Tifnit, Tiout pour découvrir les multiples facettes du paysage du Maroc. Isabelle et son époux sont de très bon conseil et proactifs si vous avez des interrogations, nous reviendrons sans hésiter!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Medhi. Le riad est situé dans une ruelle au calme, mais près du centre animé de la médina. On n'imagine pas un cadre aussi joli avant de franchir la porte d'entrée. La chambre, la terrasse et le patio, tout était comme sur les photos. Nous remercions encore nos hôtes pour leur accueil, tout le monde est aux petits soins. Nous avons eu des petits soucis de transport, qui ont été vite réglés (merci Claudine). N'hésitez pas à séjourner dans ce bel endroit Martine et Dominique

We had the pleasure of staying at Eric’s hand built, mud-rendered Moroccan style house for 3 nights. We all agreed that we wish we had stayed longer. Not only is he a kind and gracious host but he also cooks deliciously healthy meals. Eric provided excellent sightseeing suggestions and organised taxis. The beds are very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the sound of the wind whistling through the large tree and the songs of the small birds in his tranquil garden. We would absolutely love to return and are so appreciative of Eric’s generosity. It was an experience we will cherish forever.
