Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This was truly a bay getaway before digital games and internet. There are two bookcases with hard bound books, card tables, and reading lamps. There is TV with WIFI and internet, a ductless HVAC system and a large 100'x 125' lot This cottage is very suitable for work away from home environment. A separate table and 2 office chairs are available for a work area that can be closed off from the rest of the house during the day.

Quiet, safe, close to the water (Galveston Bay), 6 blocks from Sylvan Beach, lots of hiking trails and parks around, historic city, lots of of antique shops, 5 min from the freeway, 1/2 hr from Houston, close to Pasadena, Texas, 15 min from Kemah Boardwalk and 5 min. from Barbours Cut Terminal (a major deep water port in the Greater Houston area). Just over the Fred Hartman bridge from Baytown and Exxon Mobil.

Welcome to your stay by the Bay! Upon your stay you will have a newly renovated upstairs 3 bed 2 bath unit to yourself. You’ll be in a gated yard with a privacy fence where you can also park your vehicle(s). Pets are welcome but must be included in your reservation. This is an upstairs unit and quiet hours are 9pm-5am. Please make sure to read our house rules before booking.
