Karen was incredibly nice and very clear on check-in and check-out instructions. plow driver was there first thing every morning cleaning the driveway and the house is very cozy. Brad and Rose’s lake house is a perfect lake side get away. The location is beautiful and surprisingly convenient for being 30 yards from the border. The house is 20 minutes from Newport and 30 minutes from Jay peak down well maintained road. We spent the week skiing at Jay Peak during a two foot snow storm and were very concerned about being able to access the house since it is down a long drive way that slopes down to the lake. We spoke to Brad and Rose who made special arrangements with their plow guy to clear us a spot at the top of their driveway to guarantee we could get out on the day of the storm. The plow driver also reached out personally to make sure he plowed before we needed to leave. The drive way was plowed three time on the day of the storm and atleast 7 total during our stay. We were able to get in and out no problem even from the bottom of the drive way and the roads to and from the mountain were easily passable with 4 wheel drive (Subaru Outback). Would recommend!

The 51 Pierce location in Whitefield was fantastic. Plenty of room for 8 of us and plenty of things to do in the house. We took advantage of the big kitchen and had no issues cooking breakfast and dinner for a large group during our 3 day stay. Check in and out were seamless and clean up was easy. The beds were comfortable and linens were clean and well stocked. Would absolutely recommend it to a large group!

I have stayed in a many rental properties over the years and I have never had a kitchen so loaded with everything a cook could ask for - very helpful! Amazing views and a 20 minute drive to Jay - just a great experience. The property is on a dirt road, which is no joke. Make sure you have the right vehicle for Vermont mud season and you will have the time of your life. Highly recommended!

This is a lovely place with perfect rustic lived-in Vermont vibes. Our trip was for my 35th birthday and the host left a sweet handwritten happy birthday note, bottle of champagne and a few signature Vermont snacks. I felt very well taken care of and would absolutely come back again in a heartbeat. By the way, the neighbors’ dog is a perfect angel and we were happy to share some of our scramble with him when he dropped by to say good morning.

I was looking for a place to watch the leaves change for the month of October and I found it. The pictures do not do this home justice. It is more spacious than I thought and the views are even more spectacular in person. Access to all parts of Lake Willoughby and room for two distinct groups or families with upstairs and downstairs bedrooms and a midlevel with open concept kitchen, living and dining areas and a full bath and washer/dryer. It is COMPLETELY stocked with everything you need for an extended stay. Incredibly peaceful and I hope I am lucky enough to visit again.

We had a wonderful stay at Margaret's place. It was a short trip to the NEK to visit family and was a perfect location for a weekend get away! It has all the luxuries of home. We enjoyed having our own space and was close enough to family (5 minutes) so that we could spend our time visiting instead of traveling. It certainly was a winter wonderland at this time of year up there!!! The driveway was a bit slippery and steep, but all and all it was a great stay! We definitely would love to return in the future. so nice to have so many bathrooms and separation of the sleeping quarters so that each family /group can have their own privacy.

We really enjoyed our stay at the flower farm! We came for a family ski trip and the Grandparents (babysitting toddler) loved the house. It got us some major kudos. Bedrooms are all a good size, great living room and kitchen. Patio looked great (weather didn’t cooperate to use it). Kitchen was really well stocked with supplies so it made it easy for us to cook-in for 6 (plus a toddler). They even have a nice play area with toys on the second floor which our daughter loved. We’d 100% come back and stay again!
