The Hideaway.. large luxury granite house

BrianRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Really lovely place to spend some time with the family - ground floor access was perfect for the less mobile members of our party and the underfloor heating was great! So quiet and away from it all and great for the dogs as well - plenty of enclosed space for them to run about and not far from some lovely country walks. A few minor niggles with the property but nothing to detract from the scale of the place. We were a party of 7 and it could easily sleep 10.

Ben Wyvis - 3 bed Lodge

CalvynRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Very seemless experience. Exactly as described, easy to get in and out. Just remember to follow the what3words location rather than postcode (as Alec mentions in his messages), otherwise as the site is off the beaten track it will be hard to find. Could not recommend highly enough.

Scotstonhill Farmhouse

CraigRating, 5 stars11 months ago
Wish we had booked it longer. A lovely property situated in a quiet relaxing location. Far enough away from the towns but close enough for easy access. Beautiful nearby beaches at Lossie. Children loved it. The farmhouse is well equipped and really feels like a home from home. Everything you will need is there. There was even a nice wee welcome pack of goodies for us. If you want a nice quiet, peaceful place with beautiful surroundings to stay, you've found it.

Lovely cottage. We come to Cullen 2 or 3 times a year and this cottage is up there with the best. A real bonus was having a tumble dryer! Coming home no dirty washing was brilliant. Thank you.

Louise made this part of our birthday trip to Scotland special by writing us a birthday card and gave us a little gift! It was a very nice touch. We chose this place as it is close to a few of the hikes we wanted to do but it turned out to be a nice albeit quirky place to come back to and it had pretty much everything we needed.

Glenlivet@Bluefolds, Moray, Cairngorms, Scotland

CarolineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay at Bluefolds for my Dad's 70th. The view from the property is spectacular and ever changing, and you'd never get bored of that alone! Sue was a wonderful host, very welcoming and proactive. The accommodation has everything you could need for a stay there. Take your walking boots, make sure your pets are treated for ticks (as its on a sheep farm), and have an incredible time :)

Holiday Cottage in beautiful Speyside

AngieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Lyn of Sheval Croft is a piece of heaven on Earth. It was incredibly charming inside and sitting in the dome in the evening watching the sunset was so peaceful. We loved watching the horses roam in the field behind the house. Jennifer was a great host giving us incredibly detailed instructions that made our stay seamless. She also provided fantastic recommendations for in home whiskey tasting by Steve and local in home meal delivery by Mac & Cat. We hope to make it back to Speyside and would absolutely stay here again!

Cosy, hideaway cottage in 2 acres of forest!

LaraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lovely peaceful place to stay. We loved the resident deer, the sound of the birds, the rabbits and the area was really beautiful with a few nature reserves just down the road. The cottage itself is very tiny, but has a lovely history. The WiFi works but is a little patchy but that's to be expected in rural Scotland. Cat (the owner) is very responsive and helpful.

Ruthrie Cottage Aberlour Whisky Trail Morayshire

FraserRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Cottage was stunning and in such a good location for all the distilleries we were visiting. The place was spotless and had everything you’d need for your stay. Karen passed her contact number but to be honest she had a comprehensive information book with all the local activities. We travelled to visit the local distilleries and GlenAllachie is about a two minute walk from the cottage. We had lovely weather so sat outside on the garden furniture and only saw about two cars pass and a handful of tourists. It really was quiet and relaxing and I’d have no hesitation in recommending the cottage. I’ll certainly be booking again when I’m next up. It’s a wee gem!!!! Thanks Karen

3 bedroom bungalow (sleeps 8) in Boat of Garten

JenniferRating, 5 stars1 month ago
To say we enjoyed this home is an understatement. We didn't want to leave! You can tell that this home is loved and it's easy to understand why! The views from the home, whether of the mountains or the beautiful yard, are so very calming and relaxing. The back garden has hidden paths to discover that can lead you to even better views. The beds were comfortable and all linens and towels well-appointed. We certainly enjoyed having the convenience of a separate washer and dryer. Walking distance to village with local shops and lovely restaurants. In response to the occasional floor creak, there are hardwood oak floors through most of the house and most hardware is solid brass. I would imagine this home was built in the 30s and, for us, was part of the charm. If you are looking for an escape to the country, you've found it! Thank you to Susie for being such a wonderful host and welcoming us into your home! Highly recommend!

Beautiful Seaview Townhouse

BeckyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Thank you Clyde & Azhara for a fab break! The holiday let is exactly as described, we especially loved the living space which was a great size and the bean to cup coffee machine! Lots of amenities and had everything you could possibly need. The location is superb, a 5 minute walk to East beach, which is absolutely breathtaking. We would definitely stay again if visiting Lossiemouth. Some advice for future visitors, if you have a car, drive to Findhorn and have lunch or tea at The Kimberley inn, a gorgeous little pub right by the sea with stunning views and delicious food. If like us you are food obsessed, there is a little deli, that sells fresh local seafood, but only opens Thurs - Sat and if you are looking for a reasonably priced distillery tour, the one in Moray was great and very reasonable compared to others we’d seen. Don’t hesitate to book, this place is lovely and if you love beaches, East coast is one of the best in Scotland!!

Enjoyed our last minute break at this cosy wee house. John was really helpful when we asked to park before the 3pm checkin time and let us have access earlier than expected. We appreciated the very generous welcome gift of rolls ,crisps, biscuits and sweets along with teabags and coffee. The house was is cosy and has everything you need. The bed was comfy and there is plenty of storage. We enjoyed walking to the west beach and recommend the Beach Bar for drinks or coffees. We also highly recommend the 1629 resturant for dinner upstairs. The Salt Cellar below was very good too. Best haddock & chips weve had in a long time. Both reasonably priced not like Harbour Lights where we were charged £9.00 for two mugs of coffee!!
