Lake house vacation rentals in Mooringsport

We had the absolute best time! The lake was high but it didn’t stop us from enjoying the water. You cannot beat the view that you get or seeing all the deer everyday. This was the perfect place to spend time with family on the lake.

We had a very late check in but no problem finding the house in the dark. Check in was a breeze. Lots of parking, fenced yards, beautiful outdoor spaces, covered porches, lots of seating and games. Wildlife everywhere, the lake breeze smelled so good! House was clean and nicely decorated. They provided everything you need. The house felt like a home with lots of space. There were so many things to do and see. We must sneak away again! Hosts were incredible, responsive and patient. Would recommend for a stay away from home to anyone without reservation. Thank you again, we had the best time!

A great way to see wildlife at one point there were six turtles laying eggs in the yard. Deer tracks, armadillo, and even a fish trap if you know how to bait it and throw it out. Very quiet very peaceful.

Great place for a quiet weekend getaway with the kids or with friends. We went out for mother's day weekend, 3 married couples. The home features plenty of seating area, a spacious and clean kitchen, a large game room with large sofa, a large indoor hot tub an out door fire pit, 3 bedrooms with comfortable beds, a projector screen you can hook up to and amazing views from the back porch and dock down on the lake. We loved the home and our stay there. Cody was quick to respond each time I messaged him and made things very simple. Very enjoyable stay!

Candace was VERY responsive! We had severe storms while we were there and she made sure to keep us updated when the electricity went out as she knew anything on when it would be back on. The house itself was a lot nicer than the pictures could do justice for! There were A LOT of deer at night and birds in the morning. We loved enjoying coffee out on the porch. I would highly recommend staying here.

Such a wonderful place to stay on Caddo! The hosts were very responsive and attended to our minor issues. The cabin is well stocked and we needed for nothing while we were staying! We have already planned our second visit at this location.

We love staying here during the week. It’s spacious for us along with the peacefulness of the patio.

Brandi and Steven are EXCELLENT hosts. Their place actually was more beautiful than the pictures. It was beautiful lit with lamps everywhere, the aircon was already running (which was essential due to the humidity of East Texas!), and it SMELLED AMAZING. I don’t know how she got it to smell so good, but it made a big first impression upon entering the home. The place was extremely well-stocked, tons of rags and towels and lotions and soaps, tooth brushes and deodorants and toothpaste, just everything you could need! And Brandi and Steven themselves were the highlight! They are SO accommodating and welcoming and humble. They let us walk through their yard to get to the dock and use their kayaks, and Lake Caddo is truly magical. You can tell they LOVE this place and want to share it with others. We are already planning another trip back in the winter!

We had a great stay at the home. Loved how peaceful and quiet the home was but still close to downtown for the festival. We had one small issue and the host was super responsive. I had two calls within 30 minutes of reporting it. Loved letting my little girl play under the covered awning.

It’s a very beautiful home, felt like home! We will definitely be booking again!

This was our first little family vacation for our blended family. It was absolutely the best and absolutely beautiful place we chose from. There was plenty of beds for a family of 6, 4 teens and 2 adults, couch space, and dining. The teens LOVED the slide on the side to use instead of the stairs! It's close enough for little day trips to Lindale and Jefferson; and the bait store was a short 10min drive. We would definitely chose this place again every time. We'd give this place 5+ stars if we could!

Overall, the place was great! However, the dock and kayak area could use some attention. The dock itself is a bit worn and could benefit from some repairs. It also seems like previous guests haven’t been careful about following the instructions for storing the kayaks properly, which makes the area feel a bit messy and neglected. A little maintenance and care to the kayak area would really improve the experience.

There was nothing wrong with our stay. My husband said just one request to Mrs Donna, please put a TV in the bedroom lol . I would highly recommend this place. our family loved it our kids loved it. We were sad to leave. But we will be making another reservation. Thank you Mrs Donna and Mr Paul for making our stay perfect on Easter 🐣

Tammie was one of the most gracious hosts I have encountered. she was very helpful and flexible. she even helped my friends with a place to stay as well! Grade A 100% class act!

Katherine’s place is spacious and clean. She is also very responsive when we have questions. We can find everything we need in the house which is very convenient since it’s a small town and not much groceries to shop for nearby. Would recommend to my friends.

The house was so cute and very clean. The pillows and linens were comfortable and soft. The house was very easy to find and we were greeted by a beautiful doe in the back yard as soon as we arrived. The house was affordable and perfect for our quick trip and just around the corner from a peaceful lake. Jay was responsive and friendly. Definitely recommend staying here for a hassle free trip.

I absolutely love this place. I’m already booking for my next stay. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. We were able to play our music without disturbing our neighbors. There were plenty of seating for our guest and the property had everything that we needed. There was a grill, crawfish boiler, pool table, games and more. Loved our stay.

Our stay was absolutely delightful! The kids had a fantastic time with the camping fire pit activities and kayaking adventures. The surroundings were peaceful and provided the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. Overall, it was such a pleasant and memorable experience

This home was absolutely beautiful. If you think the pictures are nice, just wait until you see it in person. It was everything we wanted AND MORE. All of the amenities were amazing, the fridge was even stocked with drinks! If you are looking for nothing but absolute peace and serenity, this is it. Beautiful sunrise and sunset views from the back porch. The balcony view is stunning. The one and ONLY thing I would mention, and it’s not bad, just something to know. The stairs to get up to the bedrooms are quite narrow and straight up. Just something to consider if you have someone that may not be as able to get up difficult stairs. No need to worry, they have a Murphy bed and plenty of couch space downstairs, if needed! Hillary was very responsive and kind. Would 100% stay ay this home again. Thank you!

Sarah’s house has the most amazing views of Caddo Lake. The beds were comfortable and the house was very clean. We loved having coffee on the deck in the mornings. Had a great stay!
