Vacation rentals with a kayak in Montmorency County

We had a great time. Very beautiful scenery on a peaceful lake. We enjoyed absolute relaxation and didn’t have much reason to leave.

we had the pleasure and good fortune to stay at Lisa's home for an extended stay due to the ice storm. It and she were absolutely wonderful. couldn't ask for a better host ♡♡. thank you Lisa for everything you did for our family ♡♡♡

Perfect location for our weekend away with friends. Close to Luzerne and Grayling, which is where we gathered most often. The house accommodated our group well. Bedrooms had comfortable beds, kitchen was well stocked, and bathrooms were clean with nice linens. The host was very friendly, informative, and responsive to any needs, before, during, and after our stay. She even provided us with S‘mores items which we shared with our friends. If you need a place to stay for your next fishing, snowmobiling, kayaking/canoeing, trip near Mio, MI this place would definitely meet your needs.

Walking in through the front door, the living room looks like a house from a “House Beautiful “ magazine. It’s so welcoming and decorated so uniquely. The kitchen is so well stocked with utensils, bakeware and cookware. The beds were very comfortable. As were the recliners in the living room. The scenery out the back windows was by far the eye catcher. You look down the hill from the house over the lake. Hubby fished three times each day of our stay. We will definitely be back. It is a Golden Buzzer Airbnb.

My husband said to put it on the top of re-rent list, highly suggest! The house is rustic in the perfect up north vibes kinda way while keeping all the nice amententies of home. There was plenty of space inside and out.The little lake and view from the deck are beautiful! The privacy and large yard give plenty to do even on somewhat rainy cloudy days, we had fires, kayaked, hiked. We went to the community pool on a nice hot day, the pool was nicely heated, clean and had a great view. It was also connected to a bar and grill that brings cocktails and food to you. We grilled and ate like kings and it was so nice to have the stocked kitchen and grill, the ice maker was a perfect touch and the variety of ways to make coffee and or tea were so thoughtful. We are already talking about when we could go again! Thank you for the wonderful mini vacation❤️

Beautiful home and a great host. Plenty of space for our group of 10. Close to all of the golf that Gaylord has to offer. Highly recommend.

The house was exactly as described and available at the last minute, thank goodness! Laura was kind and responsive. Everything was clean and comfortable. In fact, it was so nice that I have already booked another stay!

We drove 27 hours from Florida to explore northern Michigan with fishing, ATV riding and semi truck drag racing and the house was a perfect home port for all the activities! Cliff answered any questions I had promptly and professionally. My family and I really enjoyed our stay!

I have been coming up to hubbard lake for 15+ years, first time staying here this is by far one of our favorite spots now. This place was beautiful, thunder bay river was perfect . Neighbors were nice area was very relaxing. House had everything and more for what we needed . Only thing id say is it was a little uncomfortable how much the cameras turned on especially with kiddos and you know somebody is watching you every few minutes cause the blue light keeps activating. Multiple people in our family pointed it out. Just something to keep in mind most people are use to one out front but this is first time ive seen them on the whole property .

The lake view is great, beautiful sunrises! We stayed during fall, & during weekdays, so it was pretty quiet around the neighborhood. Enjoyed the firepit. It's an older home, but has all the necessary amenities!

Great place good location. Water was beautiful. Clean house. Just fyi there are about 4 flights of stairs to get to the dock and water. Not a distractor but just good to know if you have people that dont do stairs well. Hard to see from photos. Need to be able to do good stairs to get to dock so difficult if elderly or injured visiting. Overall great spot would stay again.

We had an amazing time at this home! It is very clean, well taken care of, and has all the amenities you need. The host was very communicative and helpful as well. Our favorite part of the house was the back yard; we enjoyed having a bonfire, playing lawn games, grilling, sitting in the Adirondack chairs, and catching bass from the dock and kayaks. The swimming area did have some weeds, but the beach itself was spotless and has great views. There is lots to do in Gaylord (and Northern Michigan in general), and this was an amazing home base for our group, especially for a bigger group since it has many beds, baths, and spaces to enjoy. I highly recommend this house!

This cottage was so cute & cozy, and was fully stocked with amenities. They had a full coffee bar, fun games to play inside, cornhole for outside, kayaks, paddle boards and a paddle boat, and so much more. We spent our whole time outside enjoying the beautiful scenery and quietness. It was so relaxing and I would definitely recommend staying here, to friends and family. Plus downtown Gaylord was only a 10 minute drive away!

This spot is wonderful!! Very chill lakeside vibes with a lovely sunroom to soak in the great summer weather. Never got around to using the kayaks but they were set up for us when we got there and if I had planned better I’m sure they would’ve been lovely on a warm day. We loved this spot and can’t recommend it enough!

Great place to satay.

We arrived late on a snowy Friday evening, to a beautifully furnished and cozy cabin. The wood was readily available to stoke up a warm fire in the wood burning stove. The next day we awoke to a beautiful snow-covered view from the large windows. The kitchen had everything we needed, including new cookware and sparkling clean appliances. We were pleasantly surprised to find both a Ninja coffee bar and a Keurig coffee maker for us to use. The driveway was plowed well and clear instructions were welcoming our arrival. We felt very comfortable and "at home" at this cottage. The owners are kind and available. My 13 y/o son even enjoyed the robe that was supplied. This was such a cozy winter getaway, we would love to stay in the summer for a completely different getaway.

Cozy cabin in a good location

The cabin was perfect. So many useful amenities. Perfect for our family snowmobiling trip.

Absolutely loved our stay here. House is beautifully done and very comfortable. Host were amazing in helping us with a late night arrival. We look forward to being able to return in the future.

This is our second time here, first in winter, now in summer. Loved it both times. Lots of stuff to do for all ages: fishing, swimming, kayaks and canoe available, gas fire pit, fire ring on the beach and multiple outdoor sitting areas. Saw beaver, bluegills, loons and hummingbirds. Plenty of towels and blankets and multiple fridges. Kitchen nicely stocked with supplies.

It was a great cabin with full of things provide to do to spend the days away from home. Enough to do for days we didnt have plans to enjoy some cards around the open fire or enjoy some time in the hot tub, or have a friendly game of corn hole
