Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Montgomery County

We went for Valentines weekend. Just looking for a quiet getaway in a cozy place. The home was so cozy and felt like home. So many nice touches like blankets and candles. Everything was so clean and Merri was so friendly and responsive. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

We had a great time at Teddi’s place. Gorgeous scenery. Plenty of room in the house for our group of 4. Kitchen is great and garage hang out area is a nice bonus.

Judy’s place was absolutely amazing. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was perfect. Judy stocked the fridge with farm fresh eggs and bacon which was a fantastic treat. Judy is the best communicator, she made sure all our questions were answered and made sure we felt at home. We will definitely be back!

My family and I had a terrific stay at this beautiful home. Olga was fantastic, always responsive if we reached out and very helpful. The home was even more beautiful and breathtaking when we first walked into the house than we could have imagined! The home was spacious and cozy, and the view was spectacular. I enjoyed waking up early to work for a few hours overlooking the lake and the beautiful view of the sunrise, enjoying a nice cup of coffee while everyone else was still sound asleep in the comfortable accommodation. The sunset was even more stunning. We will definitely return if we get the chance.

We had a great stay with Theresa! Her house is perfectly located for visitors to Canajoharie coming off of the Erie Canalway/Empire State Trail and has all the amenities that traveling cyclists would need. There were lots of little, thoughtful touches that made Theresa's place feel like home. It's also so easy to get from her place to Canajoharie's restaurants and shops and to the Arkell Museum, waterfront park, and more!

Perfect stay! Everything was clean and nicely decorated. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Paula was quick to respond to messages. Her husband was there to greet us and he was very welcoming and friendly. Fresh bread! Yummmy. I would definetly recommend staying here.

This place is amazing. The horses and donkeys are amazing. Nanci is amazing. 10/10 recommend for anyone looking to connect with themselves, their travel mates, and the land and animals upon it.

Our stay at this property was lovely. I was hesitant to book a place with concrete floors during the winter, but turns out the floors have radiant heat! We stayed warm and cozy our entire visit- even turned off the space heaters as the radiant heat was plenty to keep the space warm. The home had a well stocked kitchen and plenty of towels, linens, etc to fit our needs for the week. Our dog also had a good stay, and we all enjoyed how walkable the town was. We wouldn’t hesitate to book another stay at this home!

Wonderful place to stay. It is very peaceful and quiet, and the surrounding area is beautiful. Very convenient to Cooperstown and the Dreams Park. The apartment itself is very clean. Beds and sheets are comfortable, bathroom is clean with plenty of towels. Fast internet, AppleTV and other streaming options available, and the couch was comfortable. Barbara was a great host and introduced herself when I checked in. She was very responsive when I needed some help but otherwise gave us our space to enjoy the trip. Would highly recommend, especially for a Cooperstown Dreams Park week.

Loved Denise's place. Clean & comfortable. Well stocked kitchen. The artwork on the walls was a perfect touch. Loved the quiet neighborhood having grown up in the area. Highly recommend Denise's place.

The apartment was very comfortable. The fresh eggs and other breakfast items were a great surprise. The location was perfect for let us get away from Dreams Park between games. Our daughters had a great time feeding the animals and jumping on the trampoline.

Perfect night for a nearby getaway while things done at my apartment. Lot of charm and everything you could need is in this den. Pictures did it justice. I’ll stay again just for the fun of it next time. Igor was easy to communicate with and he was spot on with everything he has posted on the listing. This place is a gem!

The house is spacious and has four bedrooms, which really hosts a large family. It is very clean when checking in. Some amenities and utilities have age but they are super well maintained. I highly recommend this place if you just would like to have a stay when traveling in upper NY.

Very nice stay. Very clean and welcoming quick responses and helpful. Instructions was very clear and overall a very nice time.

This was perfect spot to stay with our 1 dog who got to go swim in the river, you can bring a kayak go fishing then unwind in a full kitchen and living room. There is no bedroom but it worked perfectly for us. In the morning I took my dog to the fenced in area where she was able to run around safely ! If you love the outdoors but need to go to the city I highly recommend. It's about 25 min to airport and malls and colonie mall and hobby lobby is pet friendly ;)

Great location and a big place that met all our needs.

This was our 2nd stay at Rhonda's place- felt like home again. As before, she was very helpful, thought of everything ahead of time, and was very quick to respond to all our questions. The flat is clean, cozy, and comfortable- hope to stay again sometime.

Carla was a wonderful host. More importantly her rental was beautiful and very comfortable. Would strongly recommend and we look forward to going back (when there’s less snow)!

Stunning location a short walk through lovely Congress park to downtown Saratoga. Scrumptious bakery in easy walking distance. The apartment was delightful: very clean with all the essentials stocked. We loved being able to stop back in during the day for a quick recharge before getting back into the middle of everything. Bright and sunny during the day and quiet and peaceful at night.

Such a unique stay! David gave very helpful instructions for arriving and getting to the property, even supplied photos for extra assistance. The property itself is cozy and in a great part of the city. There’s lots to do nearby, super walkable, and David provides great local recommendations. The shared gallery space was so cool to see too. Great experience!

We felt once we got to the place that it was pristine! Great location and super cute place. We would love to stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Needed a place to stay for the night on a road trip. Had a uhaul so the private parking was great to have. Spotless and spacious home:) was perfect.

Great location. Parking is difficult in downtown Saratoga Springs, but not their fault. Airbnb met all the requirements, not overly furnished or stocked in the kitchen area but got the job done in terms of giving us a place to sleep at night and being very centrally located.
