House vacation rentals in Monteverde, Rome

We had a very good time, very welcoming and well furnished apartment. There has always been immediate support for every request we made. I will definitely return to Fabrizio and I highly recommend it.

Alex was an ideal host. Met us on arrival and showed us around. He was always available via messages if required. The house was fantastic and the gardens and pool were beautiful. The pool is quite deep with a diving board. We decided not to rent a car and taxis were quite expensive so we relied on buses and the metro to get around. A metro bus ticket is 1.50 euros which gives you 100 minutes of travel on the bus and metro ( only one metro ride per ticket ). There are 3 big supermarkets including Lidl which can be reached catching the 88 bus outside the gate. The 906 bus can take you to Valle Aurelia where you can catch the metro to Rome Central. Overall, we all had a fantastic time and loved every minute of it. A fantastic host of a lovely villa.

Cosy apartment with real fire

We were enchanted when we saw Lucia's house, especially the garden and the facilities in the garden (ping pong, pool, basketball court) were very enjoyable for my son. I liked watching the sunset in the garden the most. The house was a living house. Lucia and her assistant Natalie responded to all our needs immediately. We could easily reach Rome center and other villages with the car we rented. It was very comfortable to reach Rome in 20-25 minutes by car. It is a very enjoyable house for large families or groups of friends, especially those with children, who want to be able to reach the city easily but also want to be at home in peace and relax away from the city. Thank you very much for everything.

I had a perfect stay, Antonella was lovely, really thoughtful. At first I thought of the isolated accommodation, and in the end with the bus it goes very quickly to reach the tourist center. It felt like my home. Thanks! And what a joy to regain calm after days of wandering.

Emanuele’s apartment was perfect for our city break in Rome. It’s a lovely space, comfortable, very clean, lots of thought, care and attention has gone into providing everything we needed for our stay. The location of the property was very well connected with public transport to get into the centre of the city easily. We had excellent, very easy communication with Emanuele. He was very accommodating, even when our incoming flight was very delayed. Thank you for making us feel very welcome Emanuele, we loved our short stay and look forward to coming to stay again next year. Thank you. Very highly recommended ⭐️

We stayed for a couple of nights in November 2024, we loved the location (great for Rome and surrounding areas), the accommodation was very clean and had all the equipment we needed, the bed was very comfortable and we slept well. Antonio was lovely at check in, and gave us good restaurant recommendations including the ice rink and its restaurant (along with its own brewed beer) which is just a ten minute walk away. We are now booked to return next summer for three weeks along with our two Lagotto dogs who will love their own enclosed garden to run around in.

Great location in safe and quiet area - walking distance to Piramide metro stop and 5 minute walk to train station with easy connections to and from Fiumicino Airport. 15 minute walk to Circo Massimo and Aventine Hill with lots of restaurants close by. Apartment was clean and tidy. Great shower! Quick and clear communication from host. Would definitely recommend.

The apartment was exactly as in the photo, clean and close to the bus stop that takes you to the center. Mario is super helpful!

Andrea was a splendid host because of how responsive and understanding he was. His place was perfect. It was safe, private, and quiet. When we ran into a glitch, Andrea was quick to offer a generous solution to reconcile the concern. The place had everything we needed for a 10-day stay. Plus, it felt close to the center of Rome without being in the thick of the chaos. It’s close to delicious restaurants, several transit options in any direction, and the idyllic area surrounding Basilica di Santa Maria in Trastevere. We went there several nights for shopping, dinner, and dessert. It’s an 8-minute walk to Lavasciuga Roma, which I recommend for laundry: €22 and two hours to wash, dry, and fold a week of laundry for three people. I highly recommend this place and can’t wait to return to Rome and stay here again.

Casare's place was exactly as described in the listing! It was pristine and truly beautiful! Tastefully renovated with the comfort of his guests in mind. Large apartment in the center of it all. The beds were extremely comfortable, the AC units worked very well (a MUST in Rome in during the summer months), and I cannot stress enough the convenience of having an elevator for all the luggage. The terrace and view were also spectacular. We were a party of 5 (3 adults and 2 kids), and everyone just kept wishing we would've had more time and less plans so that we could just lounge around the apartment. It was that AMAZING! Trust me....book...you will not be disappointed. Also, a special shout out to Tin...she greeted us at check-in and was very kind and so helpful.

I cannot say enough about Klevin. The apartment was exactly as described, clean, gorgeous, quiet, comfortable, easy to access. Most importantly, Klevin was ALWAYS accessible to us. We were robbed in Rome and Klevin went above and beyond to help us get new passports in time to make our cruise. We owe our entire vacation to him and his kindness.

Great service, walked us through everything before we got there

Beautiful space, clean, private and spacious. We loved the lemon trees, beautiful fragrance when you stepped out in the morning and when we returned in the evening. Loved the location, up the Clico stairs and 10 min walk to the Vatican Museum.

The apartment was cozy and had everything we needed. Nadia and her husband were lovely hosts – very kind and welcoming. Thank you for a great stay in Rome!

Our stay with Valerio was fantastic! He accomodated our late check in and welcomed us personally and explained all the amenities. The apartment is very luxurious and modern with the jacuzzi being the highlight. Very well furnished, the home had everything we needed. We were close to the Vatican so it made commuting to our tour very easy. We spent the evening outdoor part of the house, and thoroughly enjoyed using the jacuzzi while watching TV. We are glad we chose to stay with Valerio and we highly recommend!

Had a wonderful stay - a great hideaway from Romes hustle bustle- beautiful property with gardens and views of the city. Train station is 30 minutes drive away. I would love to revisit and stay at this property again

From giving rides ,to stocking up the frij (on arrival)sharing meals ,historical tour of the Colombario dei liberte de Augusto ,also being always available for any questions with patience. The Pied e Terre is charming .It is easily accessible to the center of Rome.The location is spot on for being in the Eternal city and yet away from the hustle and bustle after a hectic day of sightseeing. Clean and comfortable house. Much larger than a hotel room. Stunning views of the lake.

We have stayed at numerous Air BnB's over the years and this is one of the very best. A wonderful house with owners who were so helpful and went above and beyond our expectations. A definite recommendation. Thanks again for all your help David and Gillian

Amazing stay here ! We really enjoyed how close it was to the Colosseum and we really loved the Rione Monti area which is just a ten minute walk and has lots of bars and restaurants. Would stay here again next time we are in Rome !!

Very nice and clean place. However, it takes about 40 minutes to get to the center. Everything else is great

Great apartment, very cosy and light. Looked just like the photos. A little bit out of town but good connection by bus and tram. Alice was very helpful and gave us some good tips. Would recommend!
