If you are visiting Matera and want to be in the center of the Sassi, this location is ideal. The space is clean, beautiful and well appointed. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is hot and powerful. The kitchen is well stocked and Giuseppe left us snacks and beverages to welcome us. Note: Follow Giuseppe’s instructions on how to arrive at the apartment. GPS will get you there but on a much more difficult route to traverse with luggage.

We had a fantastic stay at Melograno! The place is located in the centre of Matera which was very convenient for my elderly parents. The accommodation has an amazing view of Matera, is beautifully decorated and it is exactly how is shown on the photos. Anna is a great host very responsive and helpful. I would recommend this place 100%. Francesca

We hebben een geweldig verblijf gehad in Villa Anna. Het huis is mooi ingericht (wat een prachtig uitzicht vanuit de slaapkamer en badkamer) met oog voor detail. Ook de keuken is heel goed uitgerust. Tot slot is er een groot terras, ideaal voor een BBQ of aperitief in de zon. Het huis is ook erg geschikt voor (jonge) kinderen. Ik zou het iedereen aanraden.

L’appartamento è confortevole e molto curato.un’oasi di pace e sole. Il mare è un incanto ed i ristoranti consigliati in zona si sono rivelati ottimi!Marta è stata cortese, amichevole e molto generosa regalandoci frutta fresca appena colta dal suo orto!!!!

Ich war nach vier Jahren zum zweiten Male in Stefania's Wohnung. Es ist ein perfektes Nest mitten in der sensationellen Altstadt, den Sassi von Matera. Sehr ruhig gelegen mit einer geradezu märchenhaften Aussicht auf den alten Stadtteil und die Schlucht am Stadtrand. Ein besonderes Highlight ist die grosse Terrasse. Hier lässt es sich unter dem Sonnenschirm wunderbar lesen, faulenzen oder einen Apero trinken (ausser in der Mittagszeit. Dann ist es sogar unter dem Schirm zu heiss). Die Wohnung ist zweckmässig eingerichtet. Wer keinen grossen Luxus braucht, fühlt sich bei Stefania sicher wohl.

Location in new town on edge of old town with private parking was what got me to book this property. We walked to all places with farthest walk being 20-30 minutes to other edge of old town. Host was always responsive and local recommendations and help with booking restaurants was so valuable. Bedroom on mezzanine can get warm on a nice day but there is AC. This room also is next to street so street noise can be heard for light sleepers. Second bedroom is cooler and quieter. Really enjoyed our stay in the spacious home.

Todo fue excelente, el apartamento superó nuestras expectativas, la vista del balcón es un 1000, de noche te quedas mirando el Sasso y te sentís dentro de una película. Luciano fue excelente anfitrión, nos estaba esperando en la plaza principal a 50 mts del depto. Nos explico que hacer muy amablemente, además te ofrece guardar el auto en un parking cerca del alojamiento y te da voucher para desayunar!!! Más no se puede pedir!!! Muy recomendable y seguramente nos volveremos a ser sus huéspedes.

Abbiamo trascorso un fine settimana a Matera siamo molto soddisfatti dell alloggio molto carino, ottima posizione vicino alla zona dei sassi, host gentilissimo e disponibile.
