Places to stay in Monterey

Our stay with Steve and Debbie was absolutely amazing! Their home was charming, spacious, and perfect for our girls' trip of four. We had more than enough room to relax and unwind, and there was plenty of parking, which made everything so easy. One of our favorite parts was sitting outside on the lawn chairs, soaking in the beautiful scenery — it was so peaceful and refreshing. Lots of great spots to head to all 30min and under. Pippin Hill was only 10min away! Everything about the stay was wonderful, with no complaints at all. We are already talking about when we can come back. Thank you, Steve and Debbie, for such a memorable and relaxing getaway! --- Would you like one that's a little even more bubbly too, just in case?

Amazing place to stay all the way around especially for skiing! Walk right to the slopes and restaurants! The condo was super clean and cozy and great if you want to cook your own meals as it’s fully stocked with everything you need. The host was very kind and quick to respond to any questions we had. My boyfriend and I loved staying here and would definitely book again!

Catherine and Shawn are absolutely wonderful hosts—warm, welcoming, and incredibly responsive. We had a major issue during our stay, and they handled it effortlessly and with such kindness. The house itself is charming and cozy, and the river and hot tub made for an especially peaceful retreat. I would absolutely love to come back. This place easily gets a 15/10 from me!

Our stay was wonderful. The drive was beautiful up to the house. It was very nice not to have to bring linens and bath towels. I would recommend bringing beach towels for the hot tub. The directions for the hot tub were very helpful and we really enjoyed soaking after a long day of trails on the mountain. My son loved that he had his bedroom and own bathroom to himself on the second floor. Our bedroom was equally as nice and the bathroom was absolutely stunning! The kitchen had everything we needed and we enjoyed eating and playing games on the dining room table. He even had games at the house and we had a blast playing together as a family. If you are a water drinker, you should know that the fridge does not make ice or dispense water. Not a big deal - we just went to a nearby Wal-Mart and bought more water/ice. Everything was very enjoyable and I can see why Mike is listed as a super host. He is super helpful and very responsive. We had a great experience and we would gladly go back.

5 star service. Perfect peaceful location. Shavers Fork on the water. Trout fisherman's dream location. Modern amenities like youtube on the TV.

This house was absolutely perfect for our family. We had two adults and two teenagers on this trip and there was plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy. We LOVED the decor. Everything was visually appealing and comfortable. There was so much to do within walking distance or a very short drive. We enjoyed great restaurants, shopping, a tour of the Grand Caverns, and the Frontier Culture Museum all during our short stay. We hope to come back again and would definitely stay here again.
