We spent Easter here with my daughter, a friend and our 2 dogs. While the exterior and ground floor (still under construction) feel a bit run-down, the first floor is full of personal touches and has a homely vibe.The wooden fireplace, reading/play area with books and games (separate from the living room), and well-equipped kitchen are great for families or larger groups.The house includes strong Wi-Fi, Netflix, washer/dryer, dishwasher, extra towels, and flexible check-in/out and is spotless !A lovely café, supermarket, and convenience store are just a 5-15 minute walk away. It’s a quiet town, but Knowlton is only 25 minutes by car. We cooked a lot, relaxed on the veranda overlooking the river, and enjoyed the peaceful setting. Note: no A/C and the river can be loud (though inaudible with windows closed). There was a small leak from the bathtub that the owner said he will take care off, house generally needs some small renos. Overall, a great spot for a laid-back weekend!

We stayed for one month in the house (November 2024)Frédérique and her dad are excellent hosts. Pros: We enjoyed the place. Quiet, incredibly beautiful the view, the space of the house inside and outside. Cleanliness of the place. Details to ensure the comfort of visitors. The essential basics of a house, everything was there. The fireplace. Laundry room. Pets allowed. Partial adaptation for one person in a wheelchair, that's great! Least: The average internet. Unique bathroom, no ventilation. The couch is uncomfortable. Some amenities would have to be renewed. These are present. In short, I would recommend this house. I would go back without hesitation. It's a beautiful place. Close to highway, restaurants and services. Thank you so much to our hosts.

The cottage was very large and met our needs well. There were 15 of us and it was perfect as a place. The environment is quiet and intimate. The cottage includes interesting amenities for a stay with friends. Would highly recommend! We'll go back for sure!

Great place, fantastic location by the lake. The house is beautiful and fully equipped with everything you need. The hens are a big hit, especially with the kids. Overall, a wonderful experience. I’d love to return!

Beautiful stay. Exceptional home in an exceptional site! We can't wait to go back. Johann was very concerned about our well-being. We had the pleasure of hearing the frogs croaking every night to enchant our stay.

Perfect space for a big group. We celebrated my husband’s birthday with friends and had a great time. We used their catering service which was delicious and fresh. Our whole groupe raved about it. Surroundings are beautiful. Hopefully we will be back!

Six of us stayed at L'Equipe Ma Kabane to celebrate my 40th! It was so wonderful. It's even nicer than the pictures. Modern but warm and cozy. The first night we cooked and the second night we had a private chef come in to cook for us. We used the fireplace and spent most of our time around the table or in the living room talking. We did go to Spa Bolton, which was only 17 min away. Such a perfect, peaceful, nourishing weekend and this location was the backdrop for such a meaningful weekend!

We had a great time! The Airbnb is well located: close to a trail and ski slopes. The space was very clean and matched the photos. Note that there is no microwave, but it is equipped to cook well :) It should also be mentioned that the accommodation is connected to the owners' house so you may hear them at times (mainly during the day). We particularly liked the living room and bedroom area upstairs. This place is perfect for a peaceful romantic weekend🥰

Amazing place right out of a bucolic fairytale! Serene landscape, horses next door, and a luxurious kitchen, hottub and bonus glamping dome. This place hits all the right notes. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous old home on a beautiful property, was the perfect place and location to host our large family Thanksgiving. The house was well stocked with charming dishes and serving pieces. They left plenty of wood for the wood-stove which made the large space feel so cozy, and plenty of wood and chairs surrounding the fire pit outside. They also provided plenty of drinking water and decorated with pumpkins and mums. Bed linens and towels a fresh crisp white felt nice to curl into. If I had a choice I’d opt for some queen size beds and use of the extra bedrooms! Though realize it’s not set up for multiple families but for individuals on a retreat. It still suited us just fine and the kids loved the giant room with the bunk beds. Thank you Carolyn for another perfect weekend!

A beautiful little hidden treasure, for those who love nature, recharge, take the time to take the time, breathe fresh air and cuddle in a beautiful blanket by a fire.

We had an incredible stay, the place is beautiful and Francis is very helpful and accommodating. The food was delicious and we were given a tour of the farm the next day! We would 100% recommend this unforgettable stay

Beautiful location! From drinking coffee while sitting next to the river to having a nice dinner on the screened in balcony, this place just kept giving. I've never stayed in a better equipped place. The hosts are really nice and responsive and really seemed to want us to have the best time possible.

Everything was excellent, the cottage easy to find and very close to the tourist places we were interested in. The lake view is beautiful
