Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Monte Testaccio

Paolo is a great host! Our party arrived at different times and he made sure we all got in to the apartment without issues. The apartment itself is exactly as described and in a great location, within a 5 to 10 minute walk to Trastevere, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Campo Fiori, and many other sites, and within a 20 minute walk to the Vatican, Spanish Steps, and Colosseum area. Being so centrally located we were able to walk practicality everywhere we wanted to go. Great location and great host.

The apartment was a pleasant surprise, a private condominium very close to the coliseum! The appliance plugs did not enter the sockets until we found that an adapter fitted to 1 of the appliances was hidden (only on the second day) For the rest, the flat is a luxurious find in Rome! The bed is super comfortable and we always rest well after walking a lot through the city. We recommend

We absolutely loved our stay here!! From the moment we entered the courtyard we felt at home (the neighbors were all lovely as well). The apartment is clean, updated and had everything you need for a short stay. She even provided coffee for the machine :) (huge perk for us!). The team was absolutely lovely communicate with, so sweet, helpful and warm. The elevator was in great working condition which was a huge help with all our bags and a 1 year old but we also used the stairs when leaving the apartment. The building is well kept and safe. It was perfect for our family of 5 (mom, dad, 9yo son, 1 yo son and gandma) with transportation (metro) only a 5 minute walk we were able to get to all the attractions and sights we wanted to see. Having a grocery store across the street (conad) was also lovely! there are plenty of coffee + gelato shops and restaurant near by as well. We hope to return and stay here for our next trip to Rome!! We were so sad to leave. 5 STARS from us! <3

Very comfortable stay, booked 4 nights and definitely enjoyed the stay. Simple apartment with a nice public terrace (nobody really used it when we did, so felt like we had it all to ourselves). Right next to a gym for those who needs to workout on vacation. Andrea was extremely helpful and a great host. Location of the apartment is just few mins walk to the Colleseum & 15-20 mins bus ride away to city centre.

We stayed here for 5 nights with 2 adults and 2 teenagers. To our surprise, the apartment was even bigger than in the photos. Nice beds, light and spacious. Big gym in the building with good equipment like in a real gym. A plus for real fitness fans. Super good communication with Alessia. Responded quickly and proactively. We had leakage in the bathroom and action was taken right away. Check out was at 10:00 and our flight didn't go until 7pm. But because the new guests only came in the evening, we were allowed to check out (after consultation with the cleaning lady) at 4:30 pm. That was fantastic! Nearby supermarkets and restaurants, train station, tram and bus towards Colosseum and Piazza Venezia (20 min) in front of the door. At 15-20 min walking distance you can walk to the heart of this bustling Trastevere district full of restaurants, street performers, markets and very cozy neighborhood. I would recommend this district and this apartment in Roma Trastevere. Quiet, yet everything nearby.

What an amazing stay! Hosts were wonderful. Always responsive and willing to help make our stay comfortable as we were travelling with small babies and children. The location was a quick walk to metro line which stops at all major landmarks and Termini train station. There was a park just at the end of the street for the kids to play at with many food and grocery options. AC in all rooms and such comfortable beds and linens. Black out rolling blinds made our babies sleep like rocks after long days out in the sun. Stop your search and just book this place right now! Perfect for families.

Beautiful and charming space! We appreciated the welcome drinks. The laundry room is right next door and it was convenient to be able to wash clothes. The elevator is nice if you are traveling with luggage too. The building is very quiet and safe. The place had a ton of room for 3 people. The book of instructions and recommendations for restaurants was so helpful and we enjoyed them! Showers were hot for 3 people. Wonderful stay with shopping and restaurants near by. Would highly recommend!

Natalia went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and easy. She helped us with arranging parking and provided detailed advice on how to get to where we wanted to go. The area was conveniently located to access public busses and trams and near a large and interesting market on the weekend. The place was clean had everything you needed for a family and was great value. Highly recommend

Daniela was very helpful with all our requests. Me, my wife and 2 of our friends stayed 4 days, we immediately felt right at home, Daniela welcomed us in person, fully meeting our expectations. There are family restaurants and a supermarket in the area. For transfers, we used the bus and metro without any problems. There is a dedicated parking space in the courtyard. Recommended.

We had a great time! The rooftop was perfect for breakfast and a glass in the afternoon before we went out to eat at any of the local restaurants.

Words can't express how much Sonia and Lucas' home made our Rome holiday more than amazing. At first, you think the location is a fair way from the historical centre, but it is so easy to get there in 10-15 mins with regular buses (No.30 and 160), you are amongst the most beautiful historical places in the world. Their home is a beautifully equipped apartment that is easy to get to, and very secure and comfortable. Sonia and Luca have thought of everything. They are both very friendly and responsive, and always there to help. Wonderful recommendations, and lots of very useful information and how to get around. You can see the pride in their home as soon as you walk in. We were even greeted by Luca who showed us up to the apartment and made sure we were right at home. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts. We will be back again.

Everything was perfect, great location

Place is just as it's seen in the photos, 20 mins away from the fontana di trevi, lively but also peaceful surroundings, would recommend it to everyone

Flat was great comfortable everything we needed was there excellent roof top terrace and gym only thing was air conditioning wasn’t working and weather was hot apart from that everything else was great

The place is great and accurately described. Super walkable (to different neighborhoods too) and easy to access. Michelle was great and super helpful. FYI, the washer/dryer is a combined unit so loads can take awhile.

An unforgettable stay in a cozy , beautiful home I had the pleasure of staying at this absolutely charming Airbnb, and it truly exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I stepped in, I felt right at home. The place is impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully designed to ensure guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay. One of my favorite parts was the outdoor space. Whether sipping coffee in the morning or relaxing in the evening, the patio area offered a peaceful retreat with beautiful views. It's clear that the host has put a lot of thought into every detail, from the decor to the amenities, making this a perfect getaway spot.

I cannot recommend this Iris and her airbnb enough! The place was beautiful, clean, and had everything you could possibly think of. This was our favorite place to stay out of the few airbnbs we did on the trip and if I could do it all over again I would choose Iris' airbnb for the entire trip. She was also super responsive, helpful, and gave clear instructions with the self check in. Great host! Great place!

Elvin d'Avantage, he took wonderful care of us, he made it much easier for us on many things, and was always available if needed. It felt like home as soon as we arrived. The accommodation is charming, clean and perfectly as described. A really nice meeting and a property we'll treasure! We'll definitely be back and this time with our daughter! We recommend it without hesitation!

Great apartment with terrace on the ground floor. And with garden where there is also a large lemon tree. There are mosquito nets in front of all the windows and garden doors. Great! Plus the central location a few hundred meters south of the Vatican. Perfect for exploring Rome. We will gladly come back. PS. Dear Anna: The grid in the kitchen is easy to open by two turns clockwise. 😉😁
