Luxury Penthouse Best Ocean Views Pools BBQ Maid

The place is spacious, comfortable, and squeaky clean, with ocean views and a wonderful terrace. The penthouse had everything we needed to make our six night stay perfect. It's just a few minutes walk from all the restaurants and bars (but without any of the noise), pharmacy, shops, and in the other direction just one minute walk to a well stocked mini-market. Jose is one of the most helpful, proactive, and responsive hosts we've ever met. Some of the features we especially appreciated were the many full bathrooms so we could all shower at the same time, the nice pool and hot tub (can be heated if you ask) in the complex's private courtyard, the secure parking lot for the car we rented and for airport taxi drop off and pick up, and the nearly silent yet powerful air-conditioning, though most of the time the ocean breeze was enough to keep us cool. Highly recommended!

Where to start? This place is magical. This was the last part of our 10 day tour of the country. We surely saved the best for last. I truly felt transported to paradise in this place. It felt super safe and I was finally able to really relax and not be on "high alert" at all times. The house is perfect. It's cozy and super clean with a great outdoor space. It literally is a one minute walk to the beach. When you get to the beach... it's amazing. I did NOT think it would be that nice. So clean, clear waters, soft sand. The staff?! I'm starting to sound like paid person or something but I cannot express how wonderful our stay was. The staff was the best most sweetest and helpful staff you could ever want. They were delighted to serve and eager to please. I wished we could have stayed another 5 days here but it's ok because I'll be back as soon as I can! Rita and her team (Luis, Melvin, Magda and Andrea) are next level!

I had an unforgettable stay at this stunning villa! The ocean views were absolutely breathtaking, and the infinity pool was the perfect spot to relax and take it all in. The villa itself was spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly peaceful—exactly what we were looking for. The resort amenities were top-notch, with everything from a fantastic spa to excellent dining options. Plus, the host was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a serene getaway with all the luxury and comfort you could want!

The view from the house and the pool is breathtaking. The architectural design is super intelligent, masterfully blending the house into its environment. The placement of the bedrooms ensures excellent privacy. There are no AC because they're not necessary, as ventilation is excellent. The caretaker of the house and her son are both helpful and delightful. Scott the owner provides good communication. The road leading to the house is a little hidden and the walk path to the beach isn't very self-guiding. Our family had a memorable stay and would do so again without hesitation.

This beautiful little apartment was perfect for my 10 week stay. the pool was well maintained and very pristine! the gardens were beautiful and well cared for. The building is locked with a secure gate and the building manager lives on site! The little watch dog princess was adorable and she welcomes each of us when we come home. These are a mix of short term and Long term rentals and I met some really nice people while staying there! Nicolas the owner responded to any question or query I had immediately and I appreciated his attention to my questions. I was on the 3rd floor where a beautiful breeze would flow through the apartment all day! less than a 5 minute walk to the beach and restaurants! I would definitely book here again!!

La Estrella del mar was just perfect. In front of a beautiful beach (Las Ballenas), and close to two other beautiful beaches (Escondida and Bonita) that you can reach by foot, cutting through the forest, on a trail. It is a 10 minute drive from the city center. It was super easy to go from one reality (the Ocean) to the other (city action). The house is perfect for a family. We travelled with our three teens. The pool was refreshing, there is a pescaderia not far, and a bbq to cook your fish, there are three bathrooms, with two showers, and we loved the terrasse in the back. Ana is a welcoming and attentive host. Available and easy to contact if you have any questions or issues. As are Yaneisi and her husband, Tony. Thank you for having us, we loved our trip. Wow, I’ve been in Jarabacoa couple of times and I think this is by far, one of my favorite experience. The host is super friendly and communicative, and the entire experience was just surreal. The villa have a lot of grassy area for kids to run around. Also the huge fire pit was amazing, I think we spend the most time around the fire pit day and night. The lady and her husband that help out around the villa are totally godsend. She cooks the most delicious sancocho ever and always ready to help with anything. The only problem like the rest of the Jarabacoa I can see if the mosquitos, so remember to bring Off or whatever mosquito repellent and it’s no problem. Once again, thank the host for everything and we will definitely go back again and suggest this listing to any of our friends.

I went with a group of friends and the photos don't do the place justice. Too quiet, private, spacious and beautiful. 100% recommended, Mr. Michel welcomed us and was very kind. And about the stay we have no complaints. The house is super equipped and furnished. All you need at your fingertips.
